Chapter 16: Fancy You

"Hey, where are you two going to? HT? Guess so, all kids go there for dating. Nevermind, don't need to answer me or feel embarrassed. Ahahahahah, ahjussi totally get it. You guys will be there in no time!" 

Just when the taxi driver started talking and both thought the awkwardness will weaken, the driver actually made them even more embarrassed and both just simply smile and remained silence till the driver dropped them off at HT.

"Er.... sorry about that...." Y/N apologised as they were in a super awkward atmosphere here and he wanted to ease themselves or a conversation floating or at least do something instead of wondering the street silently.

"Em.... Do you want to go to a coffee shop or somewhere to chill around?" He asked

"Oh..ummm, yea, sure! You fancy going to a coffee shop? There's a coffee shop Jeongyeon and I go a lot, it's called "Fancy You". They even have a corner room  for us! Let's go there, they have great coffee and cakes. I don't know coffee, Jeongyeonie said they were great so I am pretty sure you will like it as well ☺️" 🐰

"Cool name, sure!.......Er... actually, noona, hope you don't mind, I really want to ask you something...I want to ask a few days ago but couldn't find the right timing. It's not personal stuff!" Y/n asked while he scratched his neck

"Er.... if you say so, yea, go ahead" 🐰

"You can't get mad or what ok?.... promise??..... okay.... and don't hit me ok?sure? ..... ok......Emmmm......... Why do you insist I call you noona? I saw from your handbook and found out actually I am more than a year older than you?" 😅y/n

"What!? You serious!?" Nayeon was too surprised and she stopped walking "I just assume as I am the eldest in our year. So you should be in last year of high school instead of our year!? Why!? Because of the new language?" Nayeon was shocked and embarrassed at the same time as she kept insisting Y/N to call her noona since school starts

"Yah! Why don't you tell me earlier!? I am so embarrassed now. I think I need to go home. Bye!!" And Nayeon tried to rush away but grabbed back by Y/N

"Hahaha... how could I have known? I just know a few days ago when I picked up your handbook and was planning to ask you. It's ok, noona... er.... guess I could call you Nayeon-a then and you should be calling me oppa right? 😏"

"OMG! Wait, does the others know!?!?" Which 🐰saw Y/N nod with smirking "OMFG!!! I need to go to the tallest building and jump off the roof now. Please don't hold me back!"

"Hahahah!!! It's ok, I am ok with it. In my hometown, we are not that straight on age and stuff. You can jump later if you really wanna. But now, we still going to the coffee shop, right? With great coffee and cakes? I am craving for them." Y/N gently grab Nayeon's arm and pull her back to go along with her drama.

~In front of the "Fancy You" coffee shop~

"Wait!! Did Jeongyeon know?" Nayeon suddenly stopped again and grab hold of Y/N's shoulder which made him bang into the door "Oh, I am sorry! You ok?"

"Yes yes, can we go in?"

"Yea yea, sure. Wait! So, Jeongyeon knows I was calling you wrongly? And she ...... oh, hiiiii!!!! Unnie!! I miss you!  *hug hug* can we have our normal seats? Oh, btw Y/N, this is Seungyeon unnie. Jeongyeonie's eldest sister." 🐰

"Haha, this makes me sound old. Is Jeongyeonie coming? Haven't seen her lately from those practice she has. And hi, nice meeting you, you must be the new transfer that I heard about a lot recently. Your name is....?" the elder Yoo sister asked politely

"Hopefully what you hear is good stuff, noona. *rub neck* Nice to meet you!  I am Choi Y/N. I think it comes in the Yoo's genes right? You and you sister both look beautiful!" Y/n replied with a handshake with the sister

"Wow! Thanks!" Seongyeon replied with a blush and surprised on her face from Y/N's straightforward compliment.

"Ya!!! Stop flirting! Unnie, can you grab us some today's best coffee and cakes?" 🐰😤

"Heehee~ sure, will get them to you guys soon." Seongyeon giggled and lead the two to their seats and leave them alone so that she can grab some food for the two teenagers.

After they seated, Nayeon started to ask Y/N again...

"So, Yoo Jeongyeon knows that I called you wrongly and didn't correct me at all!!! I am so pissed!!!" Nayeon hold her fist and punch into the air to pretend she's actually punching Jeongyeon.

"Hahaha.... you won't be able to beat her up if she doesn't want to be, so just give up. Yes, I asked Jeongyeon first actually when I know your birth year and she said she dared not to tell you and insist that I should tell you myself. You girls are real closed! By the way, we can just talk as friends and drop the formality and stuff. I am not gonna be used to you calling me 'oppa' anyways."

"Thanks, Y/N! This seems to make our relationship closer~ heehee~~ Of course we are close, we are BFF since primary! We are our soul mate, although she kept pushing me away as she's embarrassed I guess 🤔 Of course, also along with Jihyo as well. Don't be jealous of that kay~? Hahah...... " and Nayeon cannot stop sharing the stories between her BFFs, well, Jeongyeon mostly (with a bit of ditching Jimin as usually....).
