"Hey haru" I say with a smile as I sit down by the window back corner seat and haru sits next to me. "hey" Haru says back as he looks up to me.

Haru is what you people call a childhood friend I think. I met haru when I was very young, he was on the other side of the fence to where I live. It seem that haru and his parents was going camping but the car broke down on a road. When haru got out to take a leak he got a little lost and ended up on there other side of the fence. I should have reported him to the guards but something stopped me, no I didnt want to report him so I stayed sitting listing to him talk. 

I told him to get back to a main safe road he need to run over the long field behind him until he meets with a house in the middle of nowhere. Then he would have to run though the woods, he didnt like the idea of running in scary dark woods but who can blame him he is a kid. I told him to not walk along the road or he be caught by the guards. The woods was the best way to escape.

How do I know. well we shown a map around the outside of our fence so if we decide to run away that gave us a chance. But if we get caught before reaching a main town we be killed. The map a lie, it doesn't show the woods so when a boy or girl get to the old forgotten house they think they gone to far or the wrong way. This tricks us into thinking we safe and then we get shot as we walk along the road. I hear the kids who reach it to the road, they get shot if they walk left and right so its a trap waiting for them. No one from the inside of the fence has ever made it out alive. Some who try to run but walk back before reaching the house cause they give up with only be punished and let back in.

Dont ask how I know about the woods that something I keep hidden for now. But after helping the young haru I went back to my normal life inside the fence. We were forgotten by the world, no we didnt even exist to the world. We get picked for the age of 2-3 then put in a group of 50 children. We get told from that age that we orphanage Children and no one will miss us. They teach us somethings that must never be leaked out and they train us to become something non human. Everyday its a living hell and everyday one child will die, or ever couple of days.

I was lucky I was six and still breathing tho how we were treated and forced to do everyday some might say death was better. Why didnt more kids try to run or fight back well its because we didnt have a living chance of winning. We all seen what happens to the others and no one wanted to be treated even worse then we are now. Any news reporters that heard rumors of this place and tried to find out what inside out fence. Well they were either killed after finding out or they were smart and ran around out of fear after an hour. If they stayed longer then two hours they be shot anyway. After they ran we just be a rumour all over again, a ghost others make up to scare there friends.

When I became the last child alive in my group and the groups older and younger then me, I decided it was time to run. They had two other children still living at age 4 but they were soon dead. The body couldn't keep up with the drug and the fever they overlook was the clue saying the drop dead by tomorrow. So when they all fell asleep and the night guards was laughing I climbed the fence and ran. Why did I wait till I was the last well that because I had all eyes on me since I was the top child inside the fence and with all the guards waiting for the boys to die so they can burn the bodies, it was perfect for me to run.
