We stayed in the room until midnight, well I stayed up but Violet went to sleep at 11 something, we watched disney movies and ate junk food. Around the time The Lion King started playing 'Not One of Us' that's when I smelt the most delicious thing ever. It smelt of caramel and vanilla my two favorite things in the whole world. I ran to the door to find a big sweaty Alpha with glowing eyes. He must have been working out "I, Vince Mace-" oh no here it comes. I knew this was going to happen, I closed my eyes ready for the pain of rejection to come. "- temporarily accept you as my mate." Wait what?! Temporarily. Was he joking. Right? I stood there trying to find words to say but none came. "Tell no one we're mates not even my sister, got it?" he finally said after a while. "Are you kidding me?! You got jokes now right?" I whisper- yelled. His face changed from semi relaxed to an old groch. "Does it look like I'm joking?" his face got hard "Does it look like I'm joking?" I mimicked, and tried pushing him out closing the door. Yeah that didn't work, he pushed it open and pushed me against the wall. Ouch. "Don't test me James." he growled putting his arm where my head was, " Oh wow, we're going by last names now, see ya on the field coach."I said  ducking under his arm.

" What are you five."

"Yeah, five inches deep-"

"Don't you dare finish that sentence."

"What are you going to do about it?"

A smirk crossed his face and he walked closer, "What am I going to do? Nothing." then he put his mouth where you mark your mate. I felt his fangs graze my skin, I felt his cool breathe on my skin and shivered. He started laughing then walked out. That son of a- "Hello?" I looked over to see Violet sitting up but her eyes were closed . "Go back to sleep Vi." 'By the way happy birthday mate.' I felt his presence in my mind. Ignored him then went back to sleep. I was awakened by violent shaking and something that sounded like a horse dying. "Mmoorrggaann!!! Wake up! You're officially eighteen." I still had my eyes closed while she continued to yell. A cold liquid hit and I jolted awake. She threw a bucket of cold water on me. "Run, I'll give you a five second head start." I told her. Her eyes go wide and she giggles and sprinted out of the room. I starting chasing after her, she ran down the stairs and I jumped over the railing. She squealed when I landed in front of her."Gotcha." I said she ran in the other direction screaming help. In a flash Vince showed up probably thinking his little sister was in trouble. We stopped and just looked at each other. Violet took the silence and said "attack" and jumped at me and we both fell. We sat there wrestling on the floor until Vince and Jonah separated us. "Take a chill pill it's too early in the morning." Jonah said. I looked at the clock on the wall and saw it read 11:47 am. Early were it's almost afternoon. "Hey Vi, remember Karma's a witch." I said letting her know that I would get her back. We then migrated to the living room. Well I was almost in the living room until big strong arms pulled me back. "You ignored me last night, you didn't even say thank you." He said. I shrugged my shoulders at him. He sighed and handed me a box, hesitantly I took the box and opened it and found a pendant with a triskelion on it. It was beautiful. "It's gorgeous." I said, he smiled and said "I thought you would like it." He took it out of the box, pushed my hair out of the way and put it on me. Then he kissed my neck slightly and went into the living room I stood there for a second. That was a side of Vince I've never seen. Caring and sweet was not his thing when we went on a family trip with the higher rankings someone cat called Violet and he went ballistic, he's very protective of his family. Another time he took his mother Luna Alya out for dinner for Mother's Day and a guy apparently bumped into her, she let it slid but the guy was hospitalized for a month, and he said he went easy on the dude. I slowly made my way to the living room and sat on the couch next to Vi and started watching Supernatural. I noticed she kept looking at Jonah and he looked really nervous. 'What did you do'. I mind linked to her. She stiffened and turned bright red. 'You did something didn't you.' I egged. She looked at me. 'Promise you won't tell my brother?' she responded, I glanced between her and Jonah. 'Well of course why would I tell him anything.' I responded 'I don't know... I kissed Jonah'. "What!" I yelled out loud, on accident. All eyes were on me. "I can't believe that the little girl in the picture was the killer ghost and not the dad and he was just trying to warn them..jeez." I said obviously looking dumb. I looked at Vi and motioned for to come upstairs. We walked up the stairs in silence. We finally got to my room I asked her what happened. "Well we were waiting on you and Vince and I looked at him and he just looked so beautiful and intoxicating like an angel and I felt the need to touch him and I did it started with me touching his face to kissing it, well not kiss his face but him. And oh my his lips felt amazing and I didn't want to stop there were these electric sparks everywhere, the we heard you coming in and we separated" she explained. She isn't eighteen yet so she may not know they could possibly be mates. She then put on a confused look. I tilted my head and to ask her 'what?' "What took you and Vince so long?" I looked at her at for a moment and lightly laughed. "He gave me a birthday present." I said showing her the necklace. She looked at it wide eye. "Why are you making that face you look constipated." And she continued to look at me with a puzzled face. And shook her head. "Well have you found your mate yet" she asked. "No." My reaction was different from my answer so she started squealing talking about she knew I would find him."VINCE!!!" she yelled running to the door. An annoyed 'what' followed right after. She dragged me down stairs almost tumbling. "Guess what?" she asked breathless and overexcited. Both of the men raised an eyebrow. Skeptically Vince replied "What?" Violet smiled so much you'd think her face would fall off. "Morgan found her mate!" I looked at Vince to see his reaction and yet his face remained calm.
