When they made it back to the hotel. They both showered and changed their clothes to get ready for the show. When they arrived at the show Shawn took off his jacket handing it to Toni as he ran on the stage. The crowd went crazy. Toni watched Shawn do his thang, from the side. He made her so proud, it had her missing it herself. The feeling on stage was unmatched. As a music artist it's a drug, you crave it. Bright lights, fans cheering, cameras, and thousands of eyes watching you.
From the show to the bus to beat traffic for the ten hour drive ahead of them.
Day FOUR
Brooklyn, NY
NewYork was beautiful. Toni loved it, she could see herself moving there one day. Afterwards the show the guys went to the strip club, Toni decided to stay at the hotel. Strip clubs weren't her thang, she didn't get the hype of throwing thousands of dollars on dancers.
Toni was in bed while Shawn got dressed. "Why you don't wanna go?" Shawn asked. "With all this traveling back and forth I'm tired Shawn. My body is tired, " Toni told him how she honestly felt. "...feel like I'm coming down with a cold," Toni added. "Well I'll pick you up some halls and cough syrup on my way home," Shawn said leaving out the room.
Day FIVE
The show was delayed due to the bus engine shutting down. Shawn and the guys decided going to the gym in the meantime. Toni wasn't feeling good at all, that whole morning she had been feeling hot and cold, a fever almost like. So she drank water to stay hydrated and she kept a waste bin near. Timothy name appeared across her Apple watch. She answered on her iPhone X. "Hello," she said to her best friend sluggish.
"Ahhhhhh," Timothy said he had his phone propped up, he was twerking. Eventually he got tired and grabbed the phone to talk instead. "You looking good," Toni complimented her friend. "Baby do you see me though?" he questioned in a sassy tone. "Why you all cooped up in the hotel? Where's Shawn?" Timothy noisily intrigued. "Working out," Toni said "Bus down and unfortunately.." "How are you?" he asked. "I haven't been feeling good," Toni told Timothy yawning. "I just been sleep," she added.
Something sparked when Toni made her comment. "You not pregnant are you?" Timothy asked bluntly. "Hell no," Toni protested laughing. "It's this climate change and all this traveling hotel to hotel, I want to lay in my own bed." Toni assured him. "Why would you even say that?" Toni asked lowkey offended by Timothy's boldness, she wasn't ready to have kids. She was not pregnant. "I'm just saying you said you feeling "sick" and you been sleeping a lot...sounds like pregnancy to me."
Timothy made Toni's mind ponder. "Am I pregnant?" she asked herself. "Hell no," she answered. "...and are y'all using protection?" Timothy asked. Toni decided not to answer because she knew they wasn't but it could've been anything but pregnancy wasn't one of them. She was not pregnant.
Toni decided leaving the hotel to get some fresh air. First thing on her agenda was to: grab something to eat after she stopped at a convenient store, picking up various of items like snacks, socks, shampoo. She went down the vitamin aisle where she seen a pink box labeled, "first response." Toni continued walking down the aisle looking at different things. Toni double backed on it, "What if I am pregnant?" Toni questioned. Toni turned around and decided to grab one just because Timothy's comment made her wonder, she did sleep more and feel nauseous lately but she always loved to eat so that wasn't a sign.
Making her way back to the hotel Toni ate and decided to take the test. "This is stupid...I know I'm not pregnant," Toni said thinking against it as she put the test down as she sat on the bed. Three minutes by, "Well...I bought it so I might as well" she said to herself making her way into the bathroom.
