I was walking on the street enjoying the summer heat while it lasts. I went to Starbucks to get a drink. While I was getting my caramel frap, I noticed a familiar face that I haven't seen in ages, or maybe I was just hallucinating. Right I am hallucinating a lot these days.
While enjoying my delish frap while reading Anna and the French Kiss, (oh Etienne you're so perf.) I noticed someone sat in the opposite chair in my table.
"Hello" he said
He sounds like.
"Hey you, I'm talking to you." He said again, but this time tilting my chin up to see his crystal grey eyes.
"Oh what? Hey. Yes. Hello. What is your will?" I asked a little tipsy.
"It's me. I'm back." He said in his ohsosmoky smirk
"Who are you?" I asked teasingly.
"The number one guy in your heart, Charlie Kingston." He said adding with a little wink.
"Still cocky as ever I see." I smiled purely by the memory.
"We'll you're still in love with me." He said jokingly
"We'll you're still hoping for the impossible." I said seriously.
"Ouch. Hit me in the heart. It hurts!" He jokingly said while rubbing his chest.
"So how's America been? Where their hot girls and midnight parties?" I peered curiously.
"Americas quiet good. The food is cheap, the clothes are cheap and almost everything is cheap. As for the hot girls, they are loving me." He said.
"That's good." I replied.
"So how's life in Sydney Lily?" He asked
"Life's been good, great, fine blah blah." I replied sheepishly.
"I heard theirs someone new in your heart right now." He said seriously.
"What? Where did you even get that info from?" I said restraining panic.
"Well a flock of little birdies told me." He said
"When can I meet him." He added.
"First of all I don't have those love feelings for you, second of all, so is that guy you're referring to, third of all yes we are together but no their are no feelings because, fourth this is just a DARE." I said in one breath.
"Oh." He tried to understand.
"But tell me honestly, I know I'm more handsome than he is right?" He asked smirking.
"Why does the cockiness never end. God pray for our souls." I said laughing
"For you it never will." He smiled with his real smile and I thought at that moment he was still the same old Charlie, dumb but fun
