Zora sat on the arctic cold floor. She didn't know what to do with herself. She couldn't bring herself to killing her best friend. She was lost. She couldn't believe that she came so close to killing someone that meant so much to her. She was lost in thoughts. "Would it be better to keep her around or to end it all?" Zora asked herself. "No! I have to end this. But, I can't." She felt a tap on her shoulder. She jumped out of her own skin.
"Jesus!" Zora yelled.
"It's just me," Jason responded. Isabella was standing behind him.
"Why are you sneaking up on me?" Zora asked in rage.
"I'm not sneaking up on anyone." Zora rolled her eyes. "Whatever! I'll leave." Jason said while walking away.
"Wait," Zora sighed. Jason stopped. "I'm sorry. I wasn't expecting anyone down here." Zora stood up.
"We came down here to see if everything was okay," Isabella said.
"She told me to kill her before she hurt anybody," Zora confessed.
"Nobody could do that," Isabella said in hopes to reassure Zora.
"There are people here that could do that," Zora said while looking at Jason. "I can't let this go on any longer. Jason, help me end this." Zora handed Jason the spear.
"I have a better idea," Isabella said. "Let's use this to lure her out of the school." Isabella picked up a catching pole. Zora, Jason, and Isabella were able to get Brooke out of the school without being harmed by Brooke or by the toxic fog.
"I hope we did the right thing," Zora said. The trio quickly stated boarding up the doors so no Deadheads could break in. Peter walked up to the group.
"Brooke is loose," Peter said.
"Yeah, no kidding," Isabella said. Peter noticed Brooked outside.
"That was our only chance in learning more about them and you just let her go?"
"Maybe you should take a step back and let us finish this before somebody gets hurt," Zora threatened. Peter walked off, shaking his head. Taylor was trying to break out of the school. Nelson pushed him away. It didn't work.
"I can't let you go out there," Nelson said while pushing Taylor down to the floor. Taylor got back up. Nelson only hopes in stopping him was by knocking him out. Nelson put all of his power into his jab. When it made contact with Taylor's cheekbone it knocked him out cold. Nelson went to tell everyone what happened.
"Is he okay?" Madelynn asked.
"I never messed someone up like this," Nelson said.
"It isn't from getting punched," Violet said while running her fingers through Taylor's somber chestnut hair.
"You can't know that," Isabella said.
"Actually I can."
"Was he bitten?" Peter asked.
"No."
"Or, exposed to the air outside?" Peter asked.
"He's not changing dumb-ass," Violet said. Her nerves are shortening.
"I'm simply trying-" Peter was cut off.
"Shut up Peter!" Willow yelled.
"Guys!" Jason shouted. "If he's not morphing then please tell us what he is doing."
"He needs insulin," Violet informed.
"He's diabetic?" Isabella asked. She bent down to Taylor's aid. "He could have been hallucinating. That can happen in the later stages."
