It's been two weeks since our first date and it's safe to say I'm falling for Circuit pretty hard. My mom is still pissed but we've agreed she doesn't approve and I'm not going to stop seeing him. Circuit has taken me out on several dates each more fun than the last, yesterday he took me to a skate park to fulfil my want to skateboard. By skateboard I mean he pushed me off the top of the half pipe in my wheelchair, I may have screamed the first time and I may have face planted the second time but by the fifth time I was launching myself off and loving it.
"Morning gorgeous." Circuits voice comes through the speaker on my phone and his face appears on my screen
"Morning hot ass." I smirk as I fix my bedhead
"If you want to see my hot ass you only have to ask." He winks and I giggle, we've been having some pretty steamy make out sessions, but we haven't gone further, either he's terrified of having sex with a cripple or he really is a gentleman, but the way he's been to me over the past few weeks I'm pretty sure it's the latter
"Remember I'm picking you up at 2pm for the party." He reminds me and I cringe, today he's taking me to a baby shower for one of the old ladies at the club house, so I'll meet his whole club. Has he warned them I'm in a chair and to be nice or will they all be shocked when I roll in?
"I know that look, you'll be fine, they're going to love you, just be your smart ass self and I'll be fighting the guys off you." He smiles and I try my best to relax.
"I got some work to do but I'll see you this afternoon." Circuit says and we wave on the cameras as he ends the video call.
"Officially I don't approve but you look lovely." My mom says with a stern look as she finishes helping me get ready, I'm wearing black ripped jeans and a sheer red blouse with a black tank under it, but I've got a dress in a bag, because Circuit said it's just casual but I want to make a good impression. There's a knock on the door and I rush to grab my stuff while my mom answers the door
"You're early." I say as I wheel out into the hall
"I actually kinda wanted to talk to your mom first if that's ok?" He says turning to her and I look between them both standing in front of me
"I'm sure Skye has told you I don't approve." My Mom says sternly, crossing her arms over her chest and I facepalm.
"Yes, but Skye also told me why and I completely agree with you." Circuit says and I don't know who looks more shocked me or Mom
"But look, I grew up in group homes and I never had a family. My mom died when I was three and I never knew who my dad was, so the closest thing I have to a family is my brothers at the club. The last thing I want is to split a family and I know you and Skye are still disagreeing. I want to take you both to dinner so you can get to know me and see that I only want what's best for your daughter and part of that is a relationship with you." Circuit floors me with his speech, if I wasn't sitting down I'd probably be on the floor
"I still don't approve, but I will come to dinner and I'm sorry about your mother." My Mom says placing her hand on his forearm.
"You ready gorgeous?" Circuit asks turning to me and I nod
"See you later mom." I say as I wheel out the door towards Circuits car.
"That's better than the first time I heard you say goodbye to your mom." He smirks as he folds up my wheelchair and loads it into the car
"Circuit, go suck a dick." I say before sticking my tongue out at him
"Don't tempt me." He winks and I laugh as we drive off towards his club house.
He pulls into the lot and the whole place is covered with balloons and banners, tables line one side with food and there's a grill next to them. Coolers are scattered around full of ice and bottles I look around and see a few girls wearing hardly any clothes but then others dressed like me and I relax a little
"Relax, they're going to love you." Circuit says as he squeezes my hand before jumping out of the car. He opens my door and brings up my chair, I move myself across and secure my feet before I wheel over towards all the people, Circuit walking alongside me. I love that he does that, whenever I meet people they just take my chair and push me but he lets me do it for myself.
"Circuit." A tall blonde woman to the left of us calls out as she approaches us, wearing shiny black leather high heeled boots, leather pants, a black lacy tank and a leather vest
"You must be Skye, I'm so glad you came, I've heard a lot about you, I'm Scarlett." She says with a warm smile on her face
"I gotta find Knuckles, but I'll catch up with you later." She says as she heads off through the crowds of people, as she walks away I see 'Property of Knuckles' written on the back of her vest. Circuit told me all about his club and as I look around I try to figure out who is who.
"Let me guess if I've got this right" I say looking up to Circuit and he kneels down beside me
"Long blonde hair, girl he's talking to looks creeped out, that's Ice." I say pointing to the biker with long blonde hair pulled up in a knot on top of his head, he's hotter than I pictured considering how creepy he sounds
"Yep that's Ice" Circuit laughs. I point around the group and find Sonny & Izzy with their daughter. Indigo & Bullet, Indigo hiding behind a table serving people. Doc, Needles, Socket and the prospects Jack, Avery & Ace
"Ok, maybe I spent too much time talking about my club, or you're just that good." Circuit laughs
"I'm just that good." I smirk as I follow Circuit to the nearest cooler and he hands me a beer.
"Circuit get your ass over here." I turn and see who I guess is Cordelia sat in a huge armchair at the top of the lot.
"Cordelia really wants to meet you, come on." He says as I place my beer between my thighs and wheel over to her, they may be useless but they make a handy cup holder
"About time, nice to finally meet you Skye, welcome to the club." She says as she rubs her giant baby bump. Like Scarlett she wears a leather vest along with black leggings and a t-shirt with a Metallica logo on it, I notice a scar down her cheek and wonder how she earned it
"It's nice to meet you too Cordelia, Circuit has told me a lot about you and the guys in the club, everyone sounds so nice." I say before taking a sip from my beer
"We're like one big family here and I'm glad your joining our family, Circuits been smiling like a school boy since you came along." Cordelia says and I swear I see Circuit blush
"Anyway, go find the guys Circuit, Skye and I need girl talk, send Scarlett and Indigo over here, Indigo is dying to meet you." Cordelia says and I look to Circuit, he leans down and kisses me softly
"If you need rescuing just scream and I'll come running." He jokes before leaving me with Cordelia
"So, Scarlett tells me you liked the outfit we picked for your first date, something about him coming home with his shirt ripped open?" Cordelia smirks and I feel my cheeks burn
"You picked his outfit?" I question
"Oh he was so nervous and wanted to impress you we helped him plan the date but just that first one." She replies
"So it was your idea for him to drive up in the hills so we could look over the town?" It seemed like a spontaneous move, that's what I loved about it
"What? No, we helped him pick a restaurant, Scarlett, Indigo, come and hear this." Cordelia says as they approach
"We helped Circuit pick that restaurant for their first date and he didn't even take her there." Cordelia adds and they laugh
"Tell us everything." Indigo smiles as she hands me another drink.
