It's been a month since Circuit took me to the beach and I am in love with him. I never thought I would be in love again but the way he makes me feel, he's always doing something just because he knows it'll make me laugh, if I get embarrassed that I can't do something he works around it and makes sure it's not a big deal. He's always taking me places to tick off the list we created of things I want to do but thought I couldn't. We have even spent a few nights curled up in his bed together watching Disney movies. He is an amazing guy and I'm so lucky I met him. I love Circuit. I haven't told him yet, but I will. He's taken me and my Mom to dinner two more times and she's warming to him, slowly, she still doesn't fully approve, but she's glad I'm happy, for now.
"Morning Skye, you ready?" Scarlett asks as she walks into the bar. Today is Cordelia's first day out since having her twin boys 2 weeks ago and her, Scarlett and Indigo have invited me to go to Izzy's salon with them.
"Ready." I smile as I wheel out to Scarletts car. I move into the passenger seat and Scarlett puts my chair in her trunk before coming around to the drivers seat. Indigo sits in the back smoking a cigarette
"Don't panic babe, how many times have I driven you to the club and we aren't dead yet." Scarlett says looking to Indigo in the rear view mirror
"She's a nervous passenger" Scarlett explains before driving around the back of the club up to Cordelia's house
"You'd think it was Killers Bajingo that pushed three kids out." Cordelia growls as she gets in the car
"I love my babies but damn I am more than Mommy." She finishes as Scarlett turns the car around
"Daddy terrified of being in charge of three mini Killers alone?" Scarlett laughs
"He's not even alone, Bullet and Doc are with him." Cordelia rolls her eyes and I laugh. As I turn back to talk to Cordelia I notice one of the club guys is following us on his motorcycle
"How come he's following us?" I ask
"That's Ace, we often have prospects follow us when we go out, just in case. I don't know what Circuit has told you but the club does have enemies and sometimes stuff happens." Scarlett shrugs and I relax.
I didn't want to tell Circuit but Damien and Dominic, Danny's brothers, have been following me. I've seen them outside my house three times and they've rode past me both times I had doctors appointments. Plus there's been a black truck parked outside my house every night, I don't know what to do, there's no way I'll go to the police, they're the reason I'm in a chair and Danny is dead in the first place. But I don't want to bother Circuit with this when we're having so much fun together.
"See babe made it in one piece again." I'm pulled from my thoughts as Scarlett climbs out of the car and grabs my chair
"Sorry for being a pain in the ass." I say as I move over into my chair and secure my feet
"Listen honey, it's nothing, I gave you a ride now you can give me one." Scarlett says as she locks up the car and then she sits on my lap, I'm momentarily confused as to what the fuck she is doing but then I burst out laughing
"Deal!" I laugh as I wheel towards the salon door with her still in my lap.
I am having so much fun with these girls laughing and joking as Izzy touches up my hair, Cordelia and Scarlett are getting their nails done and Indigo is having her hair done beside me
"Bullet won't stop texting to check I'm ok, am I that crazy?" Indigo says as she puts her phone down
"Oh come on he just loves the hell out of you." Cordelia replies
"I know, he's probably worried because we had a fight last night." Indigo says
"The whole kids thing again?" Izzy asks
"No, he wants us to get married, but I don't see why we need to change how we are now, we're happy." Indigo replies
"Trust me, being married isn't that different, they're still just as annoying after the wedding as they were before." Cordelia says and Izzy laughs
"Oh man how hot would we all look in bridesmaids dresses, we could go like super slutty and have our men drooling." Scarlett smirks wiggling her eyebrows.
"Just think about it, it's not that big a deal and with how happy you two are it would only be a good thing." Izzy says and Indigo nods.
"Well that brought the mood down, so Skye, cheer us up with some Circuit cuteness, any sign of you needing a property cut yet?" Scarlett asks
"Don't you guys hate having to wear something that says you belong to a man?" I ask and they all laugh
"Skye, my cut may say property of Killer but we all know we run our men. Plus it's kind of sexy that my big, strong man owns me." Cordelia smirks
"Oh hell yeah, I know I could kick Knuckles ass but when it comes to sex he can own me anytime." Scarlett adds
"Well if my old man wasn't sat over there I would add something similar, but I better not." Izzy says leaning down to me and pointing to Sonny with the brush in her hand, as he stands by reception talking with Ace,
"Me too, Bullet would do anything I ask, but I love it when he's dominant." Indigo blushes
"Well alright then." I laugh before continuing "but I doubt I'll be wearing one anytime soon, we're just having fun."
"Well I'll see you ladies tonight at the clubhouse." Izzy says as we head out, Ace following behind us
"I can't wait to test these new talons out on Knuckles tonight." Scarlett says as we head to the car
"You're such a horny slut." Indigo smirks
"You know it babe." Scarlett winks and we all laugh.
As we get to the car I hear the rumble of motorcycles
"Shooter! Get down!" Ace shouts as they all scramble for cover. Something hits me and I fly back in my chair, hitting my head on the sidewalk. I look around me to see Cordelia, Indigo, Scarlett and Ace taking cover whilst shooting at whoever shot at us
"Skye? You ok?" I hear Cordelia's voice but my head is spinning as my vision blurs and everything turns black.
