"You don't have to do this." I plead as I sit in Circuits lap in the bar. The men are getting ready to go and 'speak' to Dominic and Damien.
Speak doesn't seem like the right word though because they are loading up far too many weapons for my liking.
Bullet inspects a huge rifle thing with Indigo at his side. Knuckles has a gun in his jeans as he inspects three huge rings on his fingers while Scarlett is straddling his lap and kissing his neck. Cordelia is loading guns for Killer sitting on his lap as he wraps his arms around her. The other members are just as prepared as the club whores offer what I will call assistance before they leave.
Circuit assures me they are only going to talk and tell them to leave the club and me alone but this looks like they are going to war.
"Skye if we don't they could kill you next time. Unless you want to spend the rest of your time hiding here so I can protect you." He replies pulling me close
"Are all these weapons really necessary?" I ask waving around the room.
"They shot first, were only going with weapons to defend ourselves if they shoot at us." He assures me but I still don't feel right about this.
"But why do you have to go, I thought you always stayed back because you're the tech guy." I recite what he told me during our many conversations over the months before and after we met.
"Because I love you and they hurt you and I want to defend my woman." He growls as he puffs out his chest and tries to make an angry face. I laugh as I hit his chest, but I'm still scared
"What if I told you I'm going to be lying on your bed naked the whole time you're gone? Would you stay then?" I ask, hoping to change his mind in some way.
"Then I would say as soon as I get back I will ravish said naked body in my bed." He replies
"I can't lose you too, I love you." I say as I wrap my arms around his shoulders and bury my face in his neck.
"I'm not going anywhere, I love you." He replies as he wraps his arms round me.
"Listen up we're heading out in 5. Everyone staying behind stays here, no one in or out prospects keep guard." Killer announces to the room
"I have to go, but everything is going to be alright and I'll be expecting you to be naked when I get back." Circuit says as he lifts me off his lap and into my wheelchair, I'm trying to be positive but I guess I'm not selling it with the look on my face
"Nothing is going to happen." He assures me as he kneels in front of me and holds my face in his hands. He kisses me softly as I place my hands on top of his before he walks outside with the others
"He's going to fine, don't worry." Indigo says as she sits beside me and lights a cigarette.
"Does this happen often?" I ask as Scarlett as Izzy joins us
"Only a couple of times, we've had problems with rival clubs in the past but they're gone now. Our men are tough, they can survive anything." Izzy says.
"Hey I know what'll distract us, I overheard some of my girls talking and did you know they've ranked how good the guys are in bed?" Scarlett laughs as she sips from her whiskey
"Let me guess Cherry had a good in put." Indigo says rolling her eyes
"Luckily Bullet, Knuckles, Killer and Sonny were left out of their little scoring system." Scarlett replies
"I don't want to know where Circuit ranks, as far as I'm concerned he was a choir boy before he met me." I laugh as I finish my beer
"Ok, ok I won't tell. But you'll never guess who came top of the list." She smirks
"Don't tell me..." Izzy gasps
"Yep. Ice. I didn't believe it either." Scarlett laughs
"But the girls always look disgusted when he hits on them." Indigo questions
"Daisy said if you can get passed his cheesy pick up lines once you get him in bed he's all action no talking." Scarlett laughs.
"Well at least he's got something going for him, so go ahead tell us the list." Izzy says eagerly
"Ice, Sockets number 3 then Needles is fourth. Followed by BFG, Ace, Jack then Avery." Scarlett squeals like an excited high school girl with the latest gossip.
"Did Doc not make the list?" Indigo asks quietly making sure he can't hear her from the infirmary
"None of the girls had slept with him. Apparently he keeps to himself outside of the clubhouse." Scarlett shrugs
"Wait, you didn't say who came second, does that mean...?" I facepalm
"Congratulations Mrs. Number 2!" Scarlett bursts with laughter
"Dare I even ask how many he slept with? Is it all of them? You know what, just don't tell me." I groan. I know neither of us were virgins going into this relationship but eugh, he's a super slut.
"Oh don't worry, only one girl said she slept with him and that he was better than Ice, he only came top cos of sheer numbers." She giggles
"Ok let's change the subject." I groan.
"I got something." Indigo says quietly hiding behind her hair
"I agreed to marry Rowan, he's going to announce it next church." She blushes as Scarlett squeals
"Who's hurt?" Cordelia shouts running from the infirmary
"Our little Indigo is all grown up." Izzy beams as Cordelia rolls her eyes
"Oh oh bachelorette party at my club, I'll get male strippers. Give Mrs Byrne a proper send off to married life." Scarlett bounces
"I hope you're prepared to join this craziness Skye." Cordelia laughs. The girls do their best to distract me and make me laugh for a few hours until Doc comes from the infirmary
"We got wounded." He shouts as he heads for the door
"What we looking at?" Cordelia says getting up and following him
"Izzy, kids are in the office, Indigo I may need you for stitching." Cordelia turns back briefly before running off
"I'll get the booze flowing." Scarlett shouts as she heads to the bar
"Who's been hurt?" Indigo asks as she heads for the door. I turn my chair and follow them trying not to get in the way. Please tell me Circuit is ok.
