My conscious was filled to the brim with failure and sorrow. "I-I got t-the job done at least." Stuttering I propped the body sitting up. "Well whore y-you're dead." I calmly stood and exited the bathroom. The apartment was crap the walls a dull coffee color and the carpet stained with liquor.
Approaching the front door I hesitated for a moment before opening the door open and exiting the compartment. "Why am I feeling pity for them?" Wondering I uncover my bike from the tarp it was hiding under in the alleyway.

The soft rumble brings peace as I Cruze down the alleyway and back to the woods to Splendors mansion.

The pavement smelling earthly as it began sprinkling not that long ago. I continued through the path that led to the woods. I sped up faster enjoying the cool air and mist of the cloudy day.
The trees glistened with sap and raindrops as I approached the mansion. It wasn't that hard to detect unless you were human but again why would a human want to go to a mansion full of serial killers?

Gently I parked my bike in the small shed I had built with splendy's permission not that long ago. The smell of rust and oil gave me a sense of tingles as I draped a gray tarp over my motorcycle to protect it. Carefully I closed the giant shutters and proceeded to walk into the manor.

Sucking in breath I opened the twin set oak doors to let myself in. Upon entering the manors aroma was soothing and beautiful as it smelled like freshly made apple cider with a hint of cinnamon. A variety of sweets that hugged my nose with its gentle sweet kisses.

Still in a trance a soft tap brought my senses back to reality. "Hey y/n welcome back." Dr. Smiley smiled hiding his very obvious blush. "Hello smiles." I smile patting him on the shoulder in a friend manner.

"Oh ummm...... this is for you." He inserted a mug of warm mouth savoring apple cider onto my hand. "Thank you." He nodded and turned on his heels to walk out but instead he tripped on a lump in the carpet.

"You goof." Laughing I gave him a hand so he could stand up. "That was entertaining." I continued laughing as his blush grew darker than before. "Theres sweets in the kitchen." I nodded and walked towards the kitchen with Smiley hot on my tail.

"Who baked?" I asked with a mouthful of eclairs and hot cider. "Splendor did." I continued stuffing my face in the pastries and the cider not stopping once. "Y/n no. You're going to get a stomach ache." He said taking away the cider and cookie away from my hands.

"Fine." I huffed and crossed my arms. "Ha sike!" I took a handful if treats and shoved them into my mouth. "Y/n no!" He screamed taking both hands in his. "What the heck man?" I pouted and began struggling to get free.

"I'm sorry." He sighed releasing my hands only to gently wrap his arms around me. "I just care about you okay." I fell into the hug as he rubbed small circles around my shoulder blades.

"I care about you too smiley." His eyes twinkled with hope but was replaced by guilt. "You must be tired n/n I'll walk you to your room." He rushed quickly with my hand in his.

"Smiley why are we rushing?" I questioned as he dragged me off upstairs. "Because you're tired." He rushed out shoving me inside of my spacious f/c room. He quickly shut the door as soon as I made contact with the large comfy bed.

"Goodnight y/n." He closed the door before I could even prepare to say anything. "That was odd." I sighed and fell back onto the mattress and fell once again into a dark slumber.

My head filled to the brim with voices and negativity. I thrashed around in the rather large bed. Cold beads of sweat covered my face and body with their cooling presence. "I need a distraction." I huffed throwing the pillows to the side as I made way to outside.

"I don't know what to do." I paced inside the labyrinth behind the Splendor mansion wandering aimlessly deeper in the endless maze. "What would Lui do?" I questioned turning right on to a dead end.  Debating whether to turn back or not I sigh in defeat as the hedges close in. "NO!" I shrieked pounding on the thorn covered hedge, leaving my knuckles red and bloody. "NO, NO, NO!!" I wailed as the possible routes closed shut boxing me in the thorny prison.

"stuck now are we n/n?" Quickly I raised my head which was pounding hard, "Jeff?" I stumbled to catch my balance as I stood to the mysterious figure that I assumed was Jeff. "Stand up kid tsk." He said both hands in his pants pocket. "Are you really here with me?" I reached out to cup his cheek, but instead my hand went right through and a part of his face dissolved. "That answer your question?" I quickly nodded as he scoffed and walked straight through a thorny hedge. "Come on y/n I don't have patience." He scowled, I searched the small area for any type of weapon.

"Don't you have mutations?" The transparent Jeff sighed coming back through the hedge to flick my head. "How come you can touch me and I can't?" He chuckled pushing me towards the thorns. "Come on y/n do you really want to be stuck here?" I gasped feeling blood trickle down the side of my face. "FOCUS!" He screamed as I struggled to recover. "Little sister I don't understand what Splendor and Slender saw in you.. You're useless!" I held my face closer feeling a slight burn..

"Come on!" He spat in my face, flinching away I shut my eyes tight . "That's it! Control it." I focused on the pain more than anything feeling a beam of energy swirl around me. "Good, Now channel it." I felt the beam stronger than before. "RELEASE!" My eyes opening I felt the impact of damage I did. "Congrats n/n you have a new skill."
