Hello. Welcome and thanks for giving my story a chance. My name is Ariel and I've been writing for a long time, mostly short stories, however I've been working on a novel for a couple years now and I still can't make it past chapter one. I decided to upload a short story I started working on out of the blue because why not give this a shot? I've been reading on Wattpad for about 3-5 years now and I've seen how harsh some people can be to the authors on here, but I've also seen how amazing some people can be and how appreciative of the stories they are. So, I figured there's no harm in uploading something and giving this thing a shot. I'm a tough person, so any harsh and rude comments won't bother me. I'm Jamaican, I was practically raised around harshness.
I'm in my 20s, and I have one degree (working on the next one right now). Plus, I have two part time jobs so, in all honesty, I can't promise that I'll always be able to upload chapters quickly. Mostly because after chapter one of this story, I'm pretty much making it up as I go. It comes to me when I'm traveling to class and work so hopefully my uploads will be frequent enough to satisfy the Wattpad population.
One more thing, anything in this story that resembles real life, people, or anything else is purely coincidental. Also, some parts of the story and the main character will be based on my real-life experiences so it shouldn't resemble anyone but me. Anyway, that was a little about me and whatnot so thanks again for giving my story a chance and please I'm open to feedback, just be polite and respectful about it. And this will be the longest author's note I'll ever publish, most likely the only one.
