Namjoo immediately retreated to the third floor upon their return. Needing time to heal and calm down. Grabbing a large Sherpa blanket she relaxed down on the circle sofa that had arrived a week ago. Turning on an animated movie and curling up to relax. 15 minutes later Sehun came up to join her. She let him under the blanket with her. Cozying up with him.
These days she felt more at ease with him. Oh Sehun seemed to be always there when she needed it. Without pushing, without asking. Waiting for her to go to him on her own terms. Grappling for the same kind of freedom when their families tried drowning them.
Becoming drowsy Namjoo laid down on his lap. Curling up comfortably. Feeling him fix the blanket around her before she fell asleep. Dreaming of pretty flowers. A beautiful sky and rolling green hills. Watching butterflies flitter past as she sat on a picnic blanket with a tiny baby just learning to walk. Look at the pretty things she'd muse with her son in his wide brimmed hat. And she would listen to him giggle happily. Filling her heart with a kind of happiness she never knew could exist.
That was where she wanted to be. That was where happiness lay. And that was where she was supposed to be.
Namjoo woke up to find that the projector had been turned off. The previously bright sky was now dimming. The sky streaked with shades of darkness. Rising she looked around and turned to see that Sehun was knocked out. With his head arched back.
Namjoo massaged her neck. Grabbed her phone to check out the time. Dinner would be ready soon. She wondered if Hyesoo or her mom had come up to see if she'd like to make dinner but found them sleeping together. Never minding what she might feel shy about later, she scooted up next to Sehun. Pulling the blanket over him as she leaned against him. Closing her eyes and waiting for him to wake up.

"What happened to your hand, madam?" Hyesoo wondered curiously. Setting down a bowl of soup she glanced at the hand Leah had earlier bandaged.
"It was an accident," Namjoo explained. They were seated at the dinner table. She had had to wake Sehun up. Coming down to see that the table had long been set.
"Oh no, you should be careful," Auntie Park gently scolded.
"I'm fine. It's not a big cut," Namjoo assured. Thinking the fight they'd had seemed to have left a bigger cut internally.
"Make sure to eat everything," Auntie Park told. "You're too skinny." Looking at Sehun, "Don't you think so?" but he only smiled.
He appeared tired. Namjoo couldn't blame him. After this she didn't think she'd be able to sleep. Maybe she could star gaze.
"You seem tired," Namjoo commented when they were left alone.
"If you nap during the day you usually feel more tired," Sehun replied.
"You think?"
"I know."
Namjoo scoffed at him. Quietening they focused on the meal. Appreciating the serene atmosphere that didn't include the banter of their family. Just peace among the two of them. What they enjoyed the most out of their daily lives.
"Don't you think food tastes better with just two of us?" Sehun asked.
Namjoo kind of laughed. Reaching for some more of the soup, "Yea."
The smile on his face broadened. He took another bite. "Namjoo."
She looked at him.
"Want to try out the jacuzzi tub?"
