Ice Cream | Chapter 6

Midoriya's POV

It was hot. Like so so hot. Everyone was basically melting in class today. Nothing got done. The school's air conditioner broke leaving the entire school to feel like a desert. I think I even saw Todoroki sweat a little. Let's just say it wasn't a great day.

By the time the bell rung, everyone sprinted to there dorms and to the nice air conditioner. Training after school was canceled because recovery girl was nervous we would all get heat stroke.

When we all arrived we were hit with a terrible surprise. Apparently they were fixing the air conditioner in our dorm as well. We all laid in the common room wondering how we were going to survive.

"We need to do something, I think I may be dying". Denki explained.

"Well can you die a little quitter your giving me a headache".

"Bakugo that's not nice"!

"Hay round face! Do me a favor and also shut up".

"Ok guys I know we are all hot but can we please calm down"! Iida said while moving his arms.

"Hay guys! What if we go get ice cream"!

"That actually is a good idea Mina"!

Iida left to go ask Mr. Aizawa if we could leave the campus, while everyone else went back to there rooms to grab some money. I was in my room looking for my money when I heard a knock on the door. When I opened the door it happened to be Uraraka standing outside.

"Oh hay Uraraka. What's up"? I said whole shoving my hands in my pocket.

"Oh well I finished up early so I decided to come over to see if you were still here. We could walk down together I guess".

There was a short awkward pause.

"I can leave if you want and wait downstairs".

"NO NO NO! You can uh stay your fine uh it's ah cool with me". I said in a panicked voice.

"Ok great"!

I walked out of the way so she could pass me. I shut the door behind her and continued to what I was doing before.

"Ugh where is it"! I grunted.

"What are you looking for"?

I turned my head around and I saw her smile. Any frustration I felt before immediately melted away.

"Oh just my wallet. Can't seem to figure out where I placed it".

"Here I can help you look"!

I didn't take long for her to find it. I heard her yell "found it" from across the room and she did a funny dance. I blushed and started to laugh. She handed me my wallet and we walked to the door.

When we arrived everyone was there. Looks like we were the last one to arrive.

"Took you long enough. What were you two doing?"

"Sorry, I couldn't find my wallet and Uraraka was helping me". I explained while rubbing my neck.

"Ok guys! Mr. Aizawa gave us two hours so we better get a move on! Remember that we represent are school everywhere we go. As your class rep, I won't take any nonsense during this trip"!

Uraraka's POV

We finally arrived to the ice cream parlor almost 30 minutes later. The place was already packed, which was expected. The class got into line as we waited to get our refreshing treats.

"Hay Deku. What are you going to get"?

"Oh I'm not sure. Probably chocolate. What about you"?

"Uhh I think strawberry. It's my favorite"!

We were rudely interrupted when Kirishima walked into are conversation uninvited.

"Sooo you two. What you talking about". He said with an annoying grin.

"Ice cream. If you didn't notice we were at an ice cream parlor". I said in a sarcastic tone.

"Wow somebody's moody. Your never going to get Midoriya as a boyfriend if you act like that"!

"W-what are you talking about"?!?!

"Welp gotta go. You two have fun".

My face turned a bright pink in embarrassment. Gosh what was his problem. We were just friends. Nothing is between us. At least I think so.

The next couple of minutes were very awkward but we managed to pick up a conversation again. He was so easy to talk to. I think I could talk to him for hours. But that doesn't mean I like, like him. Just really good friends that can talk to each other. Nothing more...

We got our ice cream and found a table that could fit all of us. (Yes it had 20 chairs just go with it ok) After finding our seats, Midoriya and I kinda of broke off and started talking with different people. It kinda of made me sad.

"Uraraka how are you and Midorya, ribbit"

"Oh uh, we are great! Why do you ask"?

"Well it just seems you two are getting very close if you know what I mean". Tsu continued to say. The other girls started to take interest in the conversation.

"Uhh! It's nothing like that. We are just really close friends that's all. Nothing more"!

Why is it so hard to understand that. Did we really look like we could be dating. I mean did I really mind that? What would it be like dating Deku?

"Hay Uraraka"!

I heard him call out my voice and I got butterflies in my stomach. This is normal right?

"You got ice cream on your nose. Uh here let me help".

He grabbed a napkin and wiped the strawberry treat off my nose.

"Oh uh sorry I should of asked first". He said while his face turned red.

"Uhh no you are fine. Thanks"! I said while giggling.

After that we started to talk again. It felt like we talked for hours but it must of been only fourth minutes.

"Class listen up please! We should be heading back now. Come on everyone"!

I got up from my seat and threw away the left over trash I had. I giggled to myself while I watched Iida yell at Bakugo for leaving his trash on the table. Suddenly I felt a tap on my shoulder and I turned around.

It was Deku.

"Oh hay"!

"H-hi"! He said in a hushed tone.

Bakugo and Iida started to create a scene in the ice cream parlor.

"Uhh we should probably go before they create a bigger mess".

I started to walk away before he grabbed my hand.

"Uhh.. Uraraka. Would you like to come to my dorm when we get back".

I must of looked like the color of Kirishima's hair. He wanted to hang out after?

"Oh I, I would love to". I managed to speak out.

"Ok great"!

We soon left the ice cream parlor and we were on the train. I couldn't get what just happened off my mind.

He wanted us to hang out, alone in his dorm. Just the two of us...
