A Crush?!? | Chapter 1

Midoryias POV

I rolled over to my side and picked up my phone. I was met with a strong bright light that made me squint my eyes. It was 10:37. I sighed and put back my phone. I was supposed to be at school at 6 tomorrow. I had a private lesson with All Might and at this rate I wouldn't be awake in time for it. I simply couldn't fall asleep. So much was going through my head. It has only been 2 weeks since we got Bakugou back. Since the incident, it hadn't been the same. I had nightmares that kept me up. They would show the people I love be killed right in front of my face and I couldn't do anything about it. I had nightmares before, but never this intense. Also something else was lingering in my mind. At first i could ignore it, but it kept getting worse and worse, and now it never leaves my head. It was about Uraraka.

A couple months ago Uraraka and I were at a park late at night just chatting. Can't remember what, school? Family? But at that moment I felt something. And over the next couple of months it would get worse. My palms would sweat. I would get really nervous, my heart would pound out of my chest, stomach doing somersaults constantly. I couldn't tell you what this feeling was. I never felt anything like this before. Whatever it is, it's keeping me up at night. I haven't gotten a good night of sleep in weeks.

I rubbed my eyes and sat up. I walked over to my desk and picked up my water bottle. I opened the door to my room and made my way to the gym. Know one was there of course. Sometimes working out to the point of exhaustion will put me to sleep. Honestly, it's a stupid thing to do, but at this point I could care less.

I put my water down next to me and began to lift weights. It didn't take long till I could feel my muscles getting sore and my eyes dropping. Putting the weights down I checked the time again. 11:42. Taking a sip of my water, I walked back upstairs to my dorm room. The minute I put my head on the pillow, I was asleep.

I opened my eyes slowly to the sound of my alarm going off. I groaned as I shut it off. Feeling exhausted still, I made my way to the shower. The warm water seemed to help me wake up a bit, but the bags underneath my eyes were clearly visible and nothing was changing that.

I looked like complete crap.

It was 5:40 by the time I left my dorm. A bit late, didn't have time to eat a full breakfast, but I could grab a granola bar on my way out.

"Hay Midoriya, what are you doing up this early?"

I heard a voice coming from the common room as I was grabbing a granola bar.

"Hi Kaminari. I have a private lesson with All Might today. What about you".

"Well I woke up and couldn't fall back asleep so I just came down here. You ok? You look like shit."

I rolled my eyes.

"I'm fine just tired. Went to bed late last night"

"Maybe you should go to bed earlier then."

He said with a laugh. Doesn't he understand I tried?

"Haha yeah probably, see you at school"

And with that, I was in my way to the school. The sun wasn't even out yet. It was cold. I just wanted to be in my bed. I entered the locker room around 5:54, got dressed and headed to the training room.

"Hay look who's here"

All Might had just finished setting up what looked to be an obstacle course for me. He was in his deflated form as usual. I wonder how the world was handling his new form?

I put down my water bottle and began to stretch.

"Sorry, I was running a bit late. Didn't get much sleep last night."

"You did seem off when you walk in" All Might said.

Is it really that noticeable that I'm tired?

" I should start going to bed earlier hu?" I said while scratching my head.

All might nodded then explained the obstacle course to me. It didn't seem difficult. It was supposed to help me build up my stamina. I've been working hard on that. I'm able to hold my form without stopping for a full 15 minuets now. I will have to hold it for longer if I ever want to become a real hero though.

Toshinori POV

That boy sure is a handful. I thought as I watched him run around the obstacle course. He sure has been training hard these past couple of weeks. Sometimes I wonder if this boy ever stops training.

"Keep your head up Midoriya! Always have eyes on the back of your head"!

This boy was sure something. It's like the quirk was made for him. It just fits him well. If you look past all the injuries, you can tell that one day he will do great with this quirk.

"Midoriya think smart".

There was something on his mind. I know that he wouldn't go to bed late without reason. I don't want to bring it up. He should come to me if he ever needs something.

"Take a quick break Midoriya, you've done well"!

"Ok All Might"!

But still. I wonder what this boy was thinking.

Deku's POV

"Thank you again all might".

"It's nothing boy. You are showing great improvements these last couple of weeks. You should be proud. Now hit the shower and go to class!"

"Right. See you later."

And with that I had my second shower of the day, a little more awake then the last one. I walked to class when I heard my name be called behind me.

"Hi Deku"!

My palms sweat. My eyes widened. Stomach turned and I blushed. I turned around.

"Oh hi Uraraka".

"I didn't see you this morning. Where have you been"?

She started to walk closer to me. My heart pounded.

"Oh I was training with all might".

"Do you ever not train"

She said with a cute giggle.

"I can have fun".

"When was the last time you went out?"

"Uhhh"

I couldn't remember the last time I've been out with just friends. Has it really been that long?

"That's it. You and I are going to the mall this weekend".

"I have a lot of studying this weeke-"

"Nope! You and I are going to the mall tomorrow morning"!

"But-"

"Not buts"!!

"Uh.. fine"!

"Yay"!!

We finally got to class 1A and walked in. Everyone was already in the class and we were the last ones. I sat at my desk when I realized what's going to happen.

I will be with Uraraka... alone...
