The Daughter Of An Alpha (On Hold)

Chapter 7:

I didn't get back from the run until two in the morning. Alex brought home our parents at eleven, and he went to bed along with everyone, except Blake.

"Hey Maya." Blake says.

"You waited up for me." I respond.

"Of course. Hey, are you sure you are fine."

I am honestly not fine, I can't believe that Alex would ditch me as much as he did today.

"Yes."

"I know your lying. I have an idea. We are going to skip school tomorrow. I will talk to your dad. He is usually fine with us skip one or two days."

"No I promise I am fine. Nope and we have to wake up in three hour, so let's go to bed."

"Fine, we will talk about this tomorrow." I go up to my room and change in to pajamas. Then I pass out on the bed.

I roll out of bed. I am surprised that no one had to wake me up honestly. I go in to my closet and grab some workout clothes, then I go take a shower and get ready.

I head downstairs to the kitchen. No one is in the kitchen yet, so I start to head to my brothers room but I think about yesterday and head to Blake's room.

I knock in the door.

"Come in Maya."

I open the door and walk over to him. He looks like he is ready to go and workout. "How did you know it was me?" I ask.

"The first reason only the girls knock before they come into my room, and the second is everyone is at school."

"Wait, why didn't you wake me up earlier?"

" I talked to your dad last night and he was fine with us skipping school today, and switching partners just for today so that way you could sleep in."

"Ok, what are we going to do now?"

We are going to run to a cafe and eat. Go get another pair of clothes before we leave. We will change at the cafe."

"Fine"

I go back up to my room and look for something to bring. I decide to bring a white crop top with little cactus on it, a purple high waisted skirt, and a sun hat.

I meet Blake in the kitchen, and then we head outside and start running.

Once we get to the cafe, we both go and change, then find a table.

"Hey, my name is Lisa and I will be your waitress today. What would you two like?"

"I will take a Mocha espresso and a blueberry muffin." Blake says.

"Ok and for you?" Lisa asks looking at me.

"I will have a Caramel espresso and a chocolate chip scone." I respond.

"I will be right back with you two's order." Lisa says.

Blake and I talk for a couple minutes about random things till we get our food and coffee.

After we eat we pay for everything then walk out of the cafe.

"So, what do you want to do now?" Blake asks.

" I don't know what do you want to do?" I ask.

"I think there is a carnival in town, do you want to go?"

"I would love to." After I say that I have a huge smile on my face which causes him to laugh.

"Then let's go."

We head to the fair and when we get there we get an all day pass.

"What do you want to ride?" He asks me.

"All of them." I answer him.

He just smiles and shakes his head. "Which one do you want to ride first?"

I look around and point to one called Gravitron. "That one."

We go and there isn't that many people here since it is still school hours. There are a couple family that let there kids skip and there are some teenager's that desided to skip today like we did, but when school let's out that is when it is going to get crowded.
We ride a couple rides till we get hungry so we go and find a place with food here.

"What do you want to eat?" Blake asks me.

"I want a funnel cake."

He gets both of us a funnel cake and we go and sit down at a picnic table.

"Are you having fun?" He asks.

"Of course I am." Then I see Alex and Trinity and I just stare at them. Blake see that I am staring and looks at who I am staring at.

"Why are they here?" Blake mumbles.

"I don't know but they just saw us and are heading this way." I watch as they head this way.

"Hey sis. Why didn't you two go to school?" Alex asks.

" I guess I can ask you two the same question." I question right back.

"We did. We just left half way through."

"Well dad let us have the day off."

"Ya, but why?"

"That's none of your business." Blake says.

"Because I didn't get home until two in the morning." I tell Alex.

"Oh. I didn't realize."

Blake gets up and pulls me up and to a booth with a giant panda bear.

"Are you ok?" He asks.

"I will be." I respond.

Blake looks at the panda then back at me. "Do you want that panda?"

"Kinda."

He plays a couple times then he wins the panda bear. We hang out at the carnival till six a clock then we leave so we can make it back to the pack house for supper. We only ran in to Alex a couple times, but we still had a lot of fun.

Once we get back to the house Alex still isn't back and we walked.

"Where is Alex." Blake asks everyone.

"He isn't going to be home for supper." Kia answers.

"But we are always suppose to be here for supper." I say.

"He said that he won't get in trouble for skipping one supper." Kai told us.

"Well it's his funeral." I say then we start eating.

I stay up waiting for him in the living room. He walks in at twelve with Trinity. He didn't even realize I was sitting on the couch.

"Bye Trinity." He says.

"Bye Alex and remember don't ignore your sister because of me." She says.

"I am not ignoring her she said she was ok with us hanging out."

" I am pretty sure she didn't think you meant this much. My brother did the same thing to me when he found his mate before he died and trust me. I hate her because he would never hang out with me. I don't want your sister to hate me more than she probably does ok?"

"I promise I will talk to her in the morning."

They say bye one more time then she leaves and he walks up to his bedroom. When I think he has made to his bedroom I quietly walk up to my room and change before I fall asleep.
