Jake walks me to the pack house, as soon as we walk in we see everyone that was in the pack and knew what happened standing in the living room.

"Hey guys." I say. "Is it ok if Jake stays for a little bit?"

"No Maya, I should probably leave." Jake tells me.

"It is fine if he stays." Dad says as he walks in the room.

"See Jake, you can stay for a little bit." I say. "Please for me."

Jake looks at me, then at my dad, then the rest of the pack. "Fine, I will stay." He says.

"Yay, come with me." I grab his hand and start heading up to my room.

"Where are we going?" Jake asks.

"My room for a second." I respond.

As we walk by my brothers room I can sense that my brother is in there, so I was about to walk faster.

"Hey, Maya." Alex says and opens his door. "Maya we need to talk..."He drifts off and looks at Jake. "Jake what are you doing here, with my sister, on this floor."

"Alex that's none of your business and I don't want to talk to you." I say then I continue to my room with Jake following.

We walk in my room and Jake looks around.

"Nice room." He says.

"Thanks." I point to my bed. "Sit there while I change, we are going to go some where." Jake nods and I walk in to my closet. I am planning on going to the beach, in second period I got a invited to a bond fire, and I am allowed to bring one person with me. I decided to take Jake as a thanks.

I look at my swimsuits and desided to wear a blue and white bikini and I put on a blue sundress over it, then I walk out of my closet and look at Jake.

"So... where are we going Maya?" Jake asks.

"It's a surprise. One minute."

Hey is there any of the guys that has there mind connection on?   I wonder.

Yes.  A couple guys say at the same time.

Ok. Jake needs a swimsuit for a beach bonfire.

I can get him one.  Alex says.

Fine, hurry up.

After that I turn off mind connection and Jake and I talk.

A minute later I hear a knock on my door.

"Come in." I tell who I am assuming is Alex.

Alex walks in. I was correct.

"Here you go, and hey we need to talk." Alex tells me.

"Not now Alex. Jake and I need to leave soon. We can talk tomorrow." I say as I take the clothes and push him out the door.

After Jake gets dressed se tell everyone bye and then we start walking to the beach.

"So I am assuming we are going to the beach or something." Jake says.

"Nah we are going out to eat at a fancy restaurant in our swimming suit."I say then roll my eyes.

"Hahaha very funny."

"Ya we are going to the beach for a party."

"That's fun."

We keep talking about random things till we get to the beach two minutes later.

"Hey guys, welcome to the party." Says the person that invited me.

I see Alex's mate and I head over to her while Jake follows.

"Hey Trinity." I say.

"Hey Maya." Trinity responds. "Hey remember how I told you my friend would be starting next week which is Monday?"

"Ya."

"Well he is here today so maybe I can introduce you two to him."

"Sure I would love to meet him."

"Ok wait here."

She runs of and Jake and I talk about random things again.

I feel weird. A good weird but still weird. I look up and see Trinity coming this way and a guy trailing behind and first thing when I look at him I knew he was my...

"Mate" I whisper and Jake looks at me then at him and smiles.

The guy and I just stood there for a minute till Jake pushed me closer to him.

"Hey. My name is Maya." I tell my mate.

"Hey, my name is Aaron."

Aaron looks over at Trinity then smiles. I have a bad feeling in my stomach about this. And by the look Jake is giving me he does too.

"I have finally met my mate." Aaron says to Trinity. I don't know of it is just me or what but I think he isn't happy about it.

Aaron turns and looks at me and looks me up and down.

"Too bad. I am not willing to give up my ways." Aaron says.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"Well, mate, I am a guy who will not be tied down and you are definitely not my type." He says.

"Wh...what do you mean by that?" I ask.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." Trinity say to Aaron. "There is something we don't know about her."

"Don't care." Aaron says Trinity and then looks me in the eye. "I, Aaron King, reject Maya, as my mate." He stares at me waiting to see what I am going to do. I feel the urge to reject him back, to laugh. So I start laughing and look him in the eye. He looks confused.

"I, Maya Knight, accept Aaron King's rejection, and kill our bond." He stares at me. He must be surprised my last name is Knight because I am part of a powerful family.

"Your a Knight." He says.

I smile at him and then Jake and I  walk away.

"Are you ok?" Jake asks me.

"Yep that didn't hurt like I thought it would."

"Guess we are both mate less again at least till you find your mate."

"Yep. Let's go."

He walks me back to my pack house and then he leaves to go to his.

When I walk in I see Trinity and Alex. Seriously she was just at the party. She looks at me and then walks over to me.

"What do you want Trinity?" I ask kinda harshly.

"I am sorry about Aaron. He regrets rejecting you."

"I know it is because he found out who I really am." I say then look at her. "You know I heard what you said to him and if you are using my brother, you will regret it." I smile and walk away and up to my room. I have no idea where all this courage is coming from but I like it.

I change into some comfortable clothes and then fall asleep, suddenly exhausted.
