I'm laying in a hospital bed. I cannot feel anything from head to toe at least for right now. The only thing I remembered was that I got beaten so badly.

"Oh, thank goodness, he's awake!" I hear Clem scream.

She leans over to hug me. She feels all warm. I love her hugs. I love her.

"Y'know, it takes a lot to put me down for the count," I state.

"I was so worried," she chuckled.

"Hey, little dude," I hear Louis say.

"Hey, Louis. Whatchu doing here?" I question.

"What? I can't visit my friend in the hospital?" He laughed.

"Your mom and dad left, because they had a job they had to go to. They asked me to watch you. I brought Louis, too," Clem informed.

Louis has something in a case, but I'm not entirely sure what it is. He's a musician, so I will assume it's an instrument. It's a long rectangular case, too, at that.

"Gabe!" I hear a voice shout in the back of the room. It's my little sister.

"Marianna!" I chant as we hug.

"Oh yeah, we brought her, too." Louis mentioned.

We hear a knock at the door. Since my parents are working right now, I wonder who that could be?

"I'll get it!" Clem announced.

"Hi!" The person at the door chants.

"Hey, Violet," Clem greeted.

"I called her to come here. There was a project for you, Gabe I was working on, but I needed a second person, and I couldn't think of anyone else better than Violet. I woulda asked Clem to help, but have you heard her singing voice?" Louis joked.

"Haha, tough guy," Clem playfully laughed.

Louis and Violet nod at each other. I wonder what they could be up to? Clem leans on my right shoulder, and Marianna leans on my left shoulder. Louis pulls a purple candle from out of his pocket, and tries to light it up, but fails epically.

"Darnit! The candle won't light. Oh, wait, there we go," Louis informed.

Violet is looking at something on her phone, and Louis opens up the long case. I was right, it was an instrument he was gonna pull out of there. He pulls out a portable piano, A.K.A. a keyboard.

Violet puts her phone back in her backpocket, and walks over to Louis. Louis begins to play the piano, and Violet begins to sing.

"Never mind the darkness.
Never mind the storm.
Never mind the blood red moon.

The night will be over soon.
The night will be over soon.

Brush away the sorrow.
Brush away the tears.
Sing away your heavy heart.

The night will be over soon.
The night will be over soon.

For every night goes quiet.
And every moon grows blue.
Beyond the dark, comes something new.

The sun will be rising soon.
The sun will be rising soon.
The sun will be rising soon."

I begin to tear up, as Clem look up at me and smile. Violet and Louis do the same.

"Goodnight, Gabe," Clem and Violet say at the same time. They both kiss my forehead.

Violet and Louis leave, but Mari and Clementine stay with me for the night. I did not want to be alone.
