WARNING: I must say, that in the next ten chapters, this book will be over. Sad, I know, but there WILL be a sequel! *yay!*
Okay, to writing! Enjoy the story!!! Oh, yes, and I rated this book R, because of, well, the sex. And the details of it. And the following battles. And the language.

The next morning, I wake up alone. The sun hasn't even risen, and Sebastian is not currently in the room, which makes me wonder why I woke up. But whatever. It's too early in the morning, anyway.
I'm going back to sleep.
It seems that as soon as my eyes close, I hear a door being opened. I don't hear any footsteps, but someone has to be coming in. Or else it's a pervert, standing there, watching me sleep.
I keep my eyes closed. In a few moments, I feel someone sit on the bed beside me. They place their hand on my shoulder.
"Young Mistress, it's time to get up." A voice says.
I open one eye, to see him smirking at me. "Go away, Sebastian. I don't wanna get up."
"So childish," he chuckles. "Last night wore you out, didn't it?"
Last night.... I hide my face in my pillow to cover my blush. "Go away," I mumble.
"It's nearly nine in the morning, Alexandria. You must get up."
My first name. He used my first name. I turn to face him for only a few seconds before hiding my face again. "No." With that, I look away again.
Okay, so maybe I'm messing with him. But I am the mistress of the household, and I do not intend to get up right now.
Sebastian sighs. "Very well. I will have to persuade you, then." With those words, he proceeds to stand up and throw off the bedcovers. The cold air hits me in a single wave, and I shiver despite my nightgown.
"Sebastian!" I snap. "Not funny!"
He has a different opinion, however, when he looks at me, smirking. I glare at him.
"Do I need to convince you, mistress?" He leans down and asks, his breath hot on my ear. "Children sometimes need punishments." His hand slides lower on my back.
Gritting my teeth, I push myself up to sit on the bed with my legs over the edge. Sebastian steps back, pleased with himself. I quickly shatter that illusion.
"The only reason I am getting up right now," I say snappily, "is because I have people to deal with, and you are not one of them."
"Oh, really?" His tone drops. I give him a WTF look.
"Pervert."
"Maybe."
"Leave me alone."
"Not a chance."
I can tell I'm not going to win this argument. Grumbling, I stand up, only to be pushed back on the bed by my butler. I look up at him in surprise, about to protest, but he places a finger to my lips. "Quiet, Mistress."
I glare at him, clearly annoyed. What now? I think, slightly put off by his smirk.
"Sorry, Alex," he says smoothly. I can tell he's not really sorry, but he's just being polite. I roll my eyes, and push his hand away.
"I'm sure you are. What was it?"
"Merely some unwanted visitors. I shall be right back. Stay here."
He quietly leaves the room, leaving me glaring after him. My false anger is hiding the tingling feeling I got when he touched me. I turn away from the door with a matching smirk of my own.
"Alexandra."
The whisper is all around me, from everywhere and nowhere. It hurts my ears, and I cry out. The sound is reaching into my soul.
"I know who you are. Scarred. Hurt."
I'm covering my ears with fists, doing my best to block out the voice. I've fallen to my knees, and still, the voice is getting more painful.
"You made a contract to hide your heritage. You thought that if you showed your brother that you were in control, you could forget about your past."
My lies are being stripped away. I've never been truly known this much. My eyes widen.
"You love a demon, Alexandria. You don't what you've done."
"Alex. Alex!" The urgent voice pierces through this cloud of confusion I'm in. I open my eyes to see Sebastian standing over me.
"S-Sebastian," I whisper, scared. I try to sit up, but my arms fail me and Sebastian catches me before I fall again.
"Stay down, Alex. You're weak." He studies my expression, noting my unspoken words on the tip of my tongue. He knows what I'm going to say.
"What happened?" I ask softly.
"I found you laying on the floor. You were shaking and saying strange things. Do the words damnatio memorae mean anything?" He replies.
"'Canceled from memory.'" I whisper. The Latin phrase I use to repeat to myself to promise myself a better future swim around my head. The words bring back the memories they're suppose to kill.
But if I tell Sebastian that, he'll think I'm weak.
"N-no," I lie. "I just use to speak Latin and I guess I said something in it. It was just some random words."
He studies me, completely skeptical, but I change the subject before he can interrogate me about it.
"Who was at the door?"
He meets my eyes silently, and I know he won't drop this. I silently order him to answer me, and he inclines his head just a little bit. "Just some homeless orphans who found their way onto this estate. I took the liberty of allowing them to come in and rest for a few hours before sending them on their way. I hope you won't be angry."
I shake my head, sighing slightly. "You know I can't stay mad at you, so it's useless even trying. How long have they been here?"
"Since yesterday evening, milady."
So it's back to formal tones. I frown mentally. He's hiding something. I know him too well to be fooled by his innocent look and light tone.
Then his other words strike me.
"How long have I been asleep?" I demand.
"Around twenty-four hours." He answers.
"What the-?! What happened?" I run my fingers through my hair, turning away.
"Sebastian! Sebastian! Guess what!" A female voice shouts. "Your sister blessed our marriage!!!"
He goes pale as I turn slowly to look at him.
My voice is ice-cold, and my eyes dark with anger as I see my butler, for the first time, as a demon, and not my lover. I see him as he truly is. A cheater.
"Homeless orphans, you said?"
"I can explain-"
"Just how long have you been lying to me, Sebastian?"
