The girl screamed, struggling to get away from the men that taunted and hurt her. She was trapped, but she was desperate to get out. There had to be a way out!

Her family had been stopped on the road by the man asking for money. He claimed he needed it, but when Alexandria had snuck up behind him, she saw the gun he carried. She had screamed, and the man had pulled it out and shot her little brother. His terrified cries would still haunt her at night, it would echo in the cold, dark room she was forced to stay in, and deprive her of sleep. And each night, a different man would come in and sexually abuse her.

Why she was still a virgin she didn't know, but that was fine with her. That was the one thing they had left her.

Tears fell onto the ground as Alexandria Phantomhive collapsed onto the floor, sobbing. She wanted out. She wanted freedom, to see the clear blue sky, or experience the wind in her hair again. The field of flowers she remembered as a little girl was gone, they told her. Everything she knew was gone.

"You are desperate, are you not, to flee from this place?"

Alexandria looked up, startled. Her blue eyes looked around, but there was no one there.

"You have summoned me by accident, but I am willing to help you."

"Are you a demon?" Alexandria asked, her mind connecting the dots. Humans could make contracts. They summoned demons. So this must be it. . .

"Yes, I am. I could serve you, if that is what you want."

"But, the price," she said. "My soul."

"Yes. Once the contract is fulfilled, I will devour your soul. Are you willing to pay this price to escape your attackers and get revenge?"

My virtue is already gone, Alexandria thought bitterly. They stole my innocence and my light. They deserve to suffer. "Yes. I will make the contract."

"Think carefully," the voice purred. "If you reject the faith, the gates of paradise are forever out of your reach."

Alexandria nodded, gritting her teeth. "Yes, I know. I will agree to this contract. Now stop asking these questions and do it!"

"I will ask only once more. Are you sure you want to make a contract with me?"

"Yes!"

A form materialized in front of her. A young man with red eyes and black hair stood before her, an evil smirk on his lips. "Very well, Young Mistress. Where shall we put the contract mark?"

Alexandria looked up at him, her blue eyes wide with defiance. "Wherever you want, just do it."

Smirking, the demon knelt and leaned closer. Alexandria felt his lips press above her eye, and she yelped as the pain filled her body. And as the demon watched, the human girl struggled against him, trying to tear herself from his grasp. His grip remained as tight as ever as she continued to cry out at the burning agony that washed over her as the demon burned the Devil's mark onto her once-blue eye.

As the pain climbed, and she thought it would never end, letting the fire wash her body in agony, the demon suddenly broke all physical contact between them. Free from his death grip, Alexandria bowed her head, panting. She closed her eyes, regaining her senses. Nothing felt changed, and she began to doubt that anything had happened.

Then the demon's hand touched her chin, tilting her head up, so red eyes met blue and purple ones. "What shall be my name, Young Mistress?"

Alexandria's blue and purple eyes glittered with hatred and determination, hard as rock. "Your name... shall be Sebastian." How fitting it is, that my demon butler should be named after my own dead father. They look so much alike, don't they?

"Very good, Mistress," Sebastian said, smiling ever so slightly.

"I will call for you when I want you to come," Alexandria said coldly. "Now get out of here. I don't want anyone knowing about this before it is time to kill them."

"As you wish." Sebastian stood up and walked towards the darkest part of the room, fading into shadows.

No sooner then he had disappeared, the door burst open and the gang leader's filthy son came in, leering at the maiden. "Who were you talking to in here, little lady?"

Alexandria clenched her fists, desperately wanting to call Sebastian and kill everyone. But not before they suffered the same humiliation and agony they put her through.

"Your little sister put up more of a fight," the man said as he chained the girl to the wall. Alexandria's eyes flew wide.

"Helena? She's alive?" Alexandria asked, shocked. She had heard her sister's dying screams, hadn't she?

"As long as you cooperate." The man informed her. But instead of sexually abusing her like she expected, he brought out a whip. "But you haven't been. So my father thought it was time I showed you a lesson. After all, a wife can't be expected to disobey her future husband."

Her eyes glowed with fury. Marriage? To this disgusting bastard? She would rather die.

Her look must have told him so, because his eyes narrowed and he hit her several times. Alexandria cried out, the whip leaving bloody lines across her chest. She looked up, as he hit her across the mouth. Blood dripped from her lips, coating her white teeth and making her appear demonic.

If anyone knew of what she had been up to, they would have found this ironic, if they weren't running for their lives.

Her torture continued, and at the end of it, she was barely conscious, but as a single thought filled her mind, a devilish grin spread over her crimson-stained mouth that made the man shiver with disgust and fright. Had he known what was in store for him, he would have still not realised how it was all connected.

But she did. She knew it. The plan was like a chess game, and her Queen was ready to move any number of spaces to enact her revenge.

Sebastian was ready, awaiting her orders. It wouldn't be much longer now, and she would have the first taste of her sweet revenge.

They're probably lying to me, Alexandria realized as she thought of her younger sister. Helena can't be alive, not after all this torture.

Her eyes glowed with rage. Even if her sister was alive, the contract was in place and nothing could stop her vengeance and bloodlust now. Even if she died during the time, she would make the demon promise to make every single one of her tormenters to suffer as she did.

And there was no better torturer then a demon.
