04: Responsibility!!

Shivaay was setting his hair standing in front of the mirror as well as drinking his coffee when Annika entered the room with a big smile. He smiled towards her and pinched her nose making her pout.

Annika- Don't do it bunny!

Shivaay- I will do it.....

Annika- I will not talk to you then.

She turned around folding her hands with a fake frown. Shivaay chuckled and held her ears in front of her. She smiled and removed his hands placing a kiss on his cheek. A shock for him, no girl has kissed him before except for his mother and some other aged ladies. He caressed where she kissed.

Annika- Bunny! kiss me too..........

Shivaay widened his eyes and started coughing. Rudy, who was seeing everything from outside came inside to tackle the situation. He knew very well that his brother will never kiss a girl and what if he burst on her?

Rudy- Annika, you didn't tell bhaiyya why did you come here?

Annika- Ohhh....... yesh (yes) I folgot (forgot)........... I want toys. The bad uncle had given me a lot of them. I get bored na........ I love to play with dolls and bears and and.........

She started thinking and Shivaay looked at Rudy with a thankful look while Rudy did his intelligent sign making Shivaay roll his eyes.

Shivaay- Khanna will bring toys for you.

Annika- No, I want to go with you bunny!

Shivaay- Annika, I have to go to office. Khanna will bring them for you. Now let's go and have breakfast.

Annika- No, no, no. I will go with you or else I will not eat anything.

She sat on the floor while Shivaay being helpless agreed to her and she went out again kissing his cheek and Rudy followed her giving Shivaay a teasing look. Shivaay also started going out but received a call from Dr. Sinha.

Dr. Sinha- Shivaay, the girl has been given some medicines which are very dangerous and I am sure the way she's behaving is all because of them only. I have sent some police officers as well as some people from NGO who will take care of the girl until we find out who she is? They must be arriving soon.

Shivaay cut the call humming and went to the hall where Rudy was playing CS and Annika was watching while Gauri Bhavya and Jhanvi were instructing the maids about breakfast and Tej was reading the newspaper and Om was attending a call.

Before he could sit on the couch, the guests arrived of which Dr. Sinha told Shivaay. HE greeted them warmly and offered them to have breakfast but they refused.

Tej- Shivaay why are they here?

Shivaay- Dad, they're here because Annika was being kidnapped and given some dangerous medicines. They are gonna take her with them until they find someone related to her.

One of the NGO women went towards Annika who was clutching onto Rudru's hand seeing a lot of people.

Woman- Come on beta, you're going with us.

The woman tried to touch her but she ran to Shivaay and hid behind him.

Annika- I don't want to go. Please....

She said with almost tears in her eyes and Shivaay melted looking at her. He was about to say something when Tej spoke.

Tej- You all can take her, make sure she is being treated nicely and I hope you find her relatives soon.

The woman took hold of Annika's hand and started taking her to the door ignoring her cryings and calling of Bunny. Rudru had tears in his eyes. She had been very close to him. He got a little friend who laughs on his silly jokes as well. He looked at Shivaay pleadingly who tored his gaze away to hide the thin layer of tears.

Shivaay- STOP!!

They all stopped and Annika ran to him snatching her hand from the woman and hugged him tightly while Shivaay kept his hand on her head. HE left her and Rudru took his place.

Shivaay- ACP Jain, can Annika live with us until you find about her?

ACP- She can but with what relation? You are nothing to her.

Shivaay- She will be my responsibility. She is Shivaay Singh Oberoi's responsibility and you know that how I take care of his responsibility. You may leave now. Do inform us if you find anything about her. Thankyou.

They all left and Tej too left from there angrily and Shivaay understood the issue. Although Tej is a very kind-hearted man but business comes first. He loves his family but business is also like his family. He is thinking about the reputation. If the media gets to know about this girl, a lot of questions will be raised and no one will be able to answer.

Shivaay assured everyone and sat on the dining table to have breakfast. Annika was okay now. Rudy had already pacified her.

Annika- Bunny! When are we going to buy toys?

Gauri- Bade bhaiyya! Are you going to take her to shopping?

Om- Are you serious Shivaay?

Bhavya- Shivaay bhaiyya and shopping!

A shock for everyone. Shivaay never goes for shopping. He hates it. believes it as time waste. His shopping is also done by Khanna or Jhanvi.

Shivaay- Guys! She is insisting and Rudy is also going with us na. It's just matter of an hour. I am done. Annika, get ready, we are leaving within 20 minutes.

He went with a dish to Tej's room while Annika jumped in excitement. He knocked on the door and went inside. Tej was angry on him. He just made a stern face when Shivaay sat beside him.

Shivaay- I know dad you're angry, concerned. Nothing will happen.

Tej- Shivaay, you know na that there is the most awaited function at Oberoi Mansion after a week where all the businessmen will come and this girl? I am very worried.

Shivaay- That's the problem. I will take care of it. Don't worry. Now eat this breakfast.

He made Tej eat the breakfast and went outside. He had almost forgot about the 'Oberoi Function' the biggest function in whole India where a lot happens.
