11: Her Feelings

All the Oberois were present at the dining table having their dinner while all the army persons were guarding the Oberois Mansion.

Jhanvi- Come Annika, have dinner with us.

Jhanvi spoke seeing annika going outside taking a water bottle.

Annika- It's okay Mrs. Oberoi. I will eat with my teammates.

Shivaay- Badi ma, this is a family dinner and the outsiders don't belong here.

Annika- I will go.

Shivaay- Wait.......

He stood up from his place and stood deadly close to her.

Shivaay- What are you doing in Oberoi Mansion when we gave you the outhouse? Who gave you the permission to enter?

He literally shouted on her and she looked down, tears threatened to fall from her eyes because she has only seen a lovely Shivaay, she has never come across a harsh Shivaay.

Annika- I......I...... came her to get water, actually!........ umm........ I will go.

She went from there while Shivaay didn't feel good by shouting on her so he went behind her.

Annika was sitting on one of the stairs outside the outhouse looking nowhere particular while tears were falling from her eyes continuously when someone sat beside her.

Annika- I didn't like your tone Bunny.

She spoke unknowing of the fact that her Bunny wasn't sitting beside her but watching and hearing her hiding behind a tree. She looked beside her and wiped her tears quickly.

Annika- Jay bhaiyya aap? I thought.........

Jai- Shivaay?

Annika- I am so confused right now bhaiyya, all this time, when I was acting as an unstable girl, he pampered me so much, he made me feel like a little girl. He did my hair, he read me stories, he took me to shopping. You know, all this time I was with him, I didn't miss mama papa.

Jai- You have fallen in Love with him right?

Jai was although Annika's partner but was more like her big brother. After her parents died, who were army officers, they both gave their lives fighting for the country and so wanted their daughter to be a part of Indian army as well and she is a part. They must be so proud of her looking from above, Jai became her bhaiyya, he supported her in everything and gave her advice in every aspect of life and his advices proved to be the best ones. She calls him Sir on duty but when alone, their relation is of brother and sister.

Annika- This is the only problem bhaiyya. I don't know, I am confused. I have become habitual of his pamperings that I didn't like the tone in which he talked to me sometime back. I got scared. Can you believe? Annika Vikram Roy, the second name of fright got scared.

Jai- This is Love Annika. You love him, accept it.

Annika- How can I accept it bhaiyya? He hates me, I cheated on him is what he thinks. And bhaiyya, his love which he showed towards me is making me dependent and mama papa always used to say that never depend on anyone. How can I depend on him?

Jai- Love is very strong Annika. You won't become dependent but the love between you both will make you stronger.

Annika- Okay fine, Chalo maan let Hain that I love him. Then? Does he loves me? Chalo woh bhi maan let Hain that he too loves me. Now? We can't live with each other bhaiyya because I am an army officer and I have so many enemies. I go on missions. You know we spend 8 out of 12 months on missions.

Jai- Nothing matters in Love Annika.

Annika- How do you know bhaiyya? Have you ever fallen in Love?

Jai- I did fall in love once but I did the mistake you are gonna do. I left her because of my army service and I regret that. If I could've married her, she would've been mine and I would've at least meet her on occasion and on vacations but I chose this over her. Look into your heart Annika, if you find love for him, don't do the mistake I did.

Jai said and walked inside leaving Annika in the hurdle of questions and emotions while Shivaay who was hiding behind the tree was dancing with happiness and also crying with sadness.

He went inside where all the youngsters were present in the hall making arrangements for watching a movie.

Shivaay- Which movie are you guys watching?

Rudra- Aquaman!

Shivaay- What about we watch a romantic movie?

Gauri- Shivaay bhaiyya and romantic? Unbelievable!

Shivaay- Come on Gauri. Rudy, Annika is sitting on the stairs outside, ask which movie she loves, message me and bring her with you.

Rudy- And I know what I have to do afterwards.

He winked at Shivaay and went out of the room while all of them settled at their places. Shivaay took his seat on the two seater couch and kept his phone in his hand waiting for Rudy's message.

Rudy- Annika............. I mean Annika Didi......

Rudy ran to her and say beside her.

Rudy- What are you doing?

Annika- Nothing!

Rudy- What is your fav movie btw?

Annika- Titanic......... Why??

And the recording on WhatsApp was sent to Shivaay.

Rudy- We were watching that only. Come.

He grabbed her hand and dragged her inside the Mansion. It was dark, the only light was coming from the TV screen. Rudy pushed Annika to the couch where Shivaay was sitting and shushed everyone as the movie started.

Annika fell on Shivaay with her hands on his chest and her hair strands falling on her face. He tucked the strands behind her ear and held her hands on his chest.

Annika tried moving back but his hold was very strong.

Annika- Leave me Mr. Oberoi please!

She said, in between her heavy breaths.

Shivaay- Ek baar Bunny boldi chor doonga.

He said and she looked into his eyes which held love? Yes live for her.

Annika- Bunny!

She said stammering and he left her hands. She sat on the couch with a distance between them which he soon covered. Her sight was on the television but her sense was on her while his everything was on her.
