12: Confession

The movie got over leaving everyone in tears. Annika excused herself and went to the kitchen while Shivaay followed her. She poured herself some water and took a deep breath before gulping the whole glass of water.

Shivaay- What are you doing here?

She opened her eyes with a jerk hearing his harsh voice. He was standing by the kitchen door. She opened her mouth to speak but decided against it. She wanted to ask why did he make her call him Bunny? It was disturbing her.

Shivaay- I am still waiting for an answer.

She walked out of the kitchen without answering him and he followed her. He pulled her in his room holding her arm and pinned her to the wall.

Shivaay- You can't ignore me.

Annika- I don't have anything to talk about. Let me go.

She tried going but he lessened the distance between them caging her from both the sides. She protested and tried pushing him back with her hands but he grabbed her wrists and pinned them against the wall.

Annika- You can't touch me without my wish Mr. Shivaay Singh Oberoi.

Shivaay- And you can play with my feelings without my wish?

He asked stepping further. He was angry, really angry. The woman in front of his eyes played with his feelings, unknowingly but she did.

Annika- I didn't play with your feelings.

He banged his hand on the wall after leaving her wrist and she gasped. His eyes were red and jaw clenched.

Shivaay- You did Annika, you did play with my feelings. I did so much for you. I brought you home and kept you here when bade pa was against it. We spent so much quality time, I used to skip office to be with you. I have never skipped office ever Annika. You called me Bunny! This is unacceptable for anyone calling the Shivaay Singh Oberoi Bunny. But I let you call, why? Because I cared for you. All the time I spent with you, I felt something for you, something beautiful, something I have never felt with anyone before. Now, will you also say that you didn't play with my feelings? You acted like that, so cutely, the feelings has to be built.

He was looking in her eyes all the time he said those words. She was speechless. Yes she did hurt him. She was so into her plan that she didn't recognize when feelings for her built in his heart and feelings for him built in hers.

Shivaay- Say that once Annika that you don't have any feelings towards me. That you didn't feel the way I felt for you.

He asked with Love in his eyes and it took everything in her not to shout that yes she feels for him. Yes, she felt for him the way he felt for her but her duty and dedication towards her work stopped her.

She couldn't be selfish to say all these things which will make him happy, or even on top of the world but them what? As soon as Albert will be arrested, Annika's job here will end and shell have to go. She can't break his heart.

Annika- Don't keep false hopes Mr. Overou because I don't and will never have anything in my heart for you. I came here to do my job which I am doing.

She said looking at the ground. It was so hard for her to say all of this to him but she said with all the courage in her.

He held her chin with his thumb and made her look into his eyes.

Shivaay- You're saying something else and your eyes are speaking something else.

Annika- Stop it now. I am done. Leave me so that I can go.

He smiled looking at her face, a little scared, a little cute and very pretty. He traced his finger from her forehead to her jawline and traced her jawline with his thumb. She shivered under his touch.

He placed a light kiss on both her cheeks and stepped three foot away from her while she stood there closing her eyes.

Shivaay- You're free to go but you'll be back her only.

He said and she opened her eyes. She couldn't control her lips from forming a shy smile and her cheeks from turning crimson. He literally ran out of the room while he laughed.

Shivaay- I just can't wait for you to say those three magical words. I am waiting impatiently after I got to know how you feel about me.

Annika ran to the outhouse and fell on the bed, that smile not leaving her lips. She recalled what just happened in his room, his confession and his touch. She touched her cheeks where he kissed and went into deep slumber.

Will it be acceptable if I plan a happy ending of this book but Shivaay and Annika won't be together? Like he'll see off her after they'll have an emotional conversation? Please let me know.
