14: LOVE + CARE

The doctor came out of the OT followed by a stretcher on which Annika was lying. Her eyes were closed and her breathing was slow..

He caressed her cheek with his fingers and sucked a breath while tears rolled down his cheeks and onto her hers.

Annika, along with the stretcher was taken away while Shivaay turned to the doctor wiping his tears.

Doctor- The patient is out of danger. Thank God that the bullets didn't hit her organs. The stitches will take time to heal, until then, she needs proper rest and care.

He nodded and sat on the chair while the doctor left. He waited for hours, sitting beside her, holding her hand between his until she gained consciousness.

Shivaay- Annika!

He softly spoke as she slowly opened her eyes. She tried sitting up but flinched because of the pain and he wiped her tears.

Annika- Albert?

The first thing she asked was about the man who tried to kill her. She's one dedicated woman and a thing which Shivaay loves, dedication.

Shivaay- He's arrested, shhhh

He hated her forehead and she went to sleep.

It's been two months since that incident and Annika has been living with Shivaay in Oberoi Mansion, on his insistence. She is completely fine now. They both have created a bond of friendship. As Annika is completely fine, there is only one week left for her to join back and for that she'll be moving to Dehradun.

Shivaay- I have a surprise for you Annika.

He barged into the guest or Annika's temporary room. She quickly turned down the laptop screen in which she was looking at their pictures which they clicked in these two months. She kept the laptop aside and dab under her eyes before he could notice.

Annika- A surprise because I am leaving in a week?

She asked and tried keeping her smile but as his faded away, hers too did. He blinked his eyes rapidly and sat beside her taking her hand in his. 

Shivaay- Shall we?

He asked and she nodded. Her smile also came back as his did. They walked hand in hand towards the out house.

It's was beautifully decorated with rose petals and yellow lights. She looked at him with a raise brow and he chuckled.

In these two months, they both have come across each other. He has learned that behind a strict and dedicated woman, there is a very jolly teenage girl behind who loves to do a lot of fun things and they did too. She has learned that he isn't only a businessman, he is one kind-hearted person.

Shivaay- I know Annika that you don't like all of this, you like everything simple and sweet, and I tried keeping it as simple as possible.

Annika- What is going on in your mind?

She asked, fear gripping her heart. Of he was going to do what she was thinking, then it would be difficult for both of them.

They both were aware of the feelings they had towards each other but never confessed in these two months. They both thought that it'll eventually get out of their minds but each passing moment, they spent with each other, the feelings only grew and now, the thought of her going away was killing him so he decided to confess his love for her hoping she would change her mind and marry him.

Shivaay- Annika, I really respect your decision and what you are doing. I tried hard to control my feelings but I just can't Annika. I have fallen head over heels in love with you.

She tried to speak but he kept his finger on her lips shushing her. He then took both of her hands in his and placed a light kiss on them.

Shivaay- When you came as a mentally retarded girl who was so innocent and so pure, I was attracted towards you. I know it was wrong, but I felt it right. You called be bunny, no one cares to call Shivaay Singh Oberoi bunny but when you used to say it, I used to love it and now see, here we are. I don't know if you feel the same about me or not but honestly, I don't want you to go. I want you to be here, with me, forever because......

He wiped her tears and his also that were threatening to fall.

Shivaay- I love you Annika.........

A sigh left her mouth and she threw herself on him hugging him tightly. She couldn't control more and burst out crying making loud noises while he rubbed her back calming her down.

Annika- I thought I'll never get to hear these words from you. I LOVE YOU TOO Shivaay.

He said and he broke the hug smiling.

Shivaay- What did you say?

Annika- I love you.

He said with a smile wiping her tears and he hugged her tightly.

Shivaay- You are mine.

Annika- I am yours, all yours.

He cupped her cheeks breaking the hug. The next moment, he placed his lips on hers. He lifted her a little and she wrapped her legs around his waist.

He sat on the bed still in the kiss and his hands reach the Hem of her shirt pulling it over her head and tossed it on the floor.

He placed her on the bed and hovered her. His lips moved to her neck and a moan escaped her lips.

The night ended and they morning rays hit their faces, sleeping peacefully cuddling with each other neked under the duvet.
