"I had a lot of fun tonight", I smiled at Jason when we left Pops and stood next to his red car.

"I'm glad you didn't regret giving me a second chance. I liked it as well. I could drive you home if you want to", he offered.

"That's nice but Alice would see us", I told him nervously because I didn't know how he would react, "I want my parents to know that we see each other but I want to tell them slowly. They shouldn't be surprised, you know."

"Don't worry, it's fine. I just feel guilty letting you walk home on your own."

"It's Riverdale, I'm safe. Nothing will happen to me."

"You're right, it's a safe town. I'll see you tomorrow in school?"

"Yes, sure", I smiled at him and stepped closer to him.

"Let me know if you want to repeat that."

Jason seemed like he didn't know what to do so I just hugged him. I know we've already kissed but I thought we should start things slowly.

"I'll text you", I said before walking home.

"Hey Betts, do you have an idea why Tina would tag Polly under that picture? Does that mean anything?", I immediately went to my cousin when I got home.

"I'm not sure", she stopped for a moment, "But I don't think so. Maybe Tina likes Jason."

"But why would she tag Polly then? I mean Polly has been mad at me already. If she likes Jason then-"

"She doesn't, don't worry. Just enjoy your time with him for once, okay? You shouldn't always be scared."

"Wait what? Did we just switch roles? I love you, Betty Cooper", I smiled thankfully and gave her a light hug.

"I love you, too, Liz", she replied.

When I went to school the next day, most of the girls looked at me weirdly. I had no idea why but I thought it had something to do with Jason and I. Once there was a photo of a girl on a boys Instagram everyone needed to talk about it.

"Did the girls start to talk about me already because of one date?", I welcomed Jason, chuckled lightly.

"They probably wonder what you did to get a date with the great Jason", he joked.

"Oh yeah right and don't forget all the boys who asked you if we had sex already."

"I didn't count but it's been ten people who asked today."
