Alex's alarm rang and she got up to go to work, she took a shower, then checked her phone for any notifications. Nothing. She brushed her short hair, then her teeth, and put her scrubs on. She pulled out her phone and texted Emily, even though she knew she wasn't going to answer back until a couple of hours, since she was still sleeping at this time.
Alex: good morning baby.
Alex took a hold of her keys and headed to her car and drove to the hospital. She pulled up at work and an ambulance truck sped past her. Alex quickly got out of the car and ran towards them. She saw a male about maybe her age, about 21, he was bruised up and bleeding. He laughed and muttered things, he seemed drunk or high. But something about him seemed familiar, and she couldn't put her finger on it. They rolled him in the emergency room, and she asked what was wrong with him. "Internal bleeding, he's beat up pretty bad. Bar fight, seems like he lost." Alex followed them in trying to remember who he was, but she couldn't. A nurse walked up to Alex and hander her information, "that patient that they rolled in, take care of him." Alex read his name but it still didn't ring a bell. John Moore, age 23, why does he look familiar? I don't recognize his name though. What the hell? Alex walked into his room and the nurses walked out. Alex looked at John and shook his head. "Hi John, I'm Dr. Nelson, are you feeling OK? You're about to go into surgery and I just wanna prepare you OK?" John laughed like the drunkard he was "yeah whatever Dr." He was hooked up to some medicine to put him to sleep, and some tubes to help his breathing. She made sure the medicine was flowing into his body properly and made sure he was breathing properly. She found herself staring at him, what the fuck? Who is this guy? Where have I seen him? She checked his heart rate and when she finished she smiled at him and left. But she was still uncertain of who he was. Who is John Moore??
