*A/N- sorry its been a while... I've been tryna update regularly, but I've got school, girls, love, other books to work on, life, chores, etc. But anyways and as always enjoy my peeps!*

Emily pulled up at Publix and walked in. The manager, Mr. Brown, greeted her with a smile and extend his hand for her to shake, and of course she accepted his hand.
"Ms. Reed, you be working as a stocker today, see how you do before we put you as a cashier. Ok?"
"Yes sir that's ok with me."
"Ok. Good luck. Oh and before I go you're going to have someone to help you out. Speak of the devil, here he is."
A guy named Luke walked up to Emily and introduced himself and shook her hand.
"My name is Luke, I'll be helping you out until you get the hang of it."
"Emily nice to meet you."
Mr. Brown smiled at them and walked away.
"Ok, Emily we go to the loading docks and pick up the boxes filled with food that we stock and stack."
Luke guided Emily towards the loading docks and picked up a box of canned beans, corn, and other things. He handed the box to her.
"Wait here, I'll show the isle where those go."
"No. No. I can find the isle through the signs. I'll wait for you there. I mean... If that's ok with you."
Luke smiled and looked down embarrassed.
"Right sorry. Yeah no, you can go ahead and I'll meet you there. I mean you can find it."
Emily turned around and was about to walk away when she was interrupted by Luke.
"Hey, Emily."
She turned back around and faced him.
"Yes?"
"Don't get lost on the way to the canned food isle."
They laughed for a while and Emily shook her head.
"I'll try not to."
She headed for the isle and was greeted by a familiar face from her past. Her body froze in fear as she stood there staring. Emily's breathing stopped, and she whispered to herself two dangerous words that always sent shivers down her spine when she said it, or when it came out of anyone's mouth.
"John Moore."
