Grace's POV

"Wakey, wakey." I hear Kai say as the trunk finally opens.

Kai lifts me out first and places me on the ground as I stumble a little, trying to regain my balance. Then he gets Bonnie out. I look around and see a lot of trees.

"How did I-"

"Get so lucky to arrive in a private flight piloted by yours truly?" Kai interrupts me, "You would've been so impressed by my flying skills. But I already knocked you out by vervain."

"Where are we?" Bonnie asks.

"Portland, Oregon. Stomping grounds of Courtney Love, Tonya Harding, and tons of other awesome people." He says while getting a backpack out of the trunk and closing it.

"You could've brought us anywhere in the world, and you took us to Portland?" Bonnie says displeased.

"This is where I grew up." He says as he cuts the ropes of my wrists, "I've been counting eclipses since I was imprisoned on this empty planet. And according to my running tally I've been here for 6,771 supernaturally repeating days. So in the real world, which we'll never get back to because you sent your magic away in a teddy bear. Today is my favorite day of the year."

"And what day is that? Halloween?" I ask.

"Thanksgiving. I'm cooking you dinner." He says as he walks towards to the house.

"Oh, memories." Kai sighs as he walks up the steps to the front door, "Pitter-patter of little siblings feet. Witchy-woo chanting in the air. Mom and Dad calling me an abomination."

"Why did you want to come back here?" I ask.

"Because I can finally show it to someone. My Coven goes out to their way to make sure no one can find us. But since they're not here to be paranoid freak shows... mi casa es su casa." He explains.

He opens the front door and walks in, and I can already smell blood. I walk in and I notice blood on the walls. I guessing this is the night Kai murdered his siblings. I walk in the kitchen to see Bonnie sitting in a chair then Kai walks in with a bottle of wine.

"Not exactly a turkey dinner but it's what my family had in the fridge on May 10th, 1994." He says.

I get bored and play around with his pager, trying to learn how to use it.

"Don't touch that." He says.

"Your pager?" I chuckle, "Why?"

"Because it's brand new, it's cool. And I don't want you to bust it." He winks at me as he snatches it from me and continues looking at me.

"What?" I say to him slouching in my chair as my arms are crossed.

"You know, Grace? Ever since I met you, I've felt an energy?

"Excuse me?" I stand up.

"A mystical energy." He clarifies, "You have... some kind of magic within you." He says as he walks up to me.

Once he is one foot away from me he looks at me up and down and puts his hands on my shoulders as he closes his eyes. Then wind come out of nowhere. Bonnie and I look at each wondering what the hell is he doing.  The wind stops and Kai takes his hands of my shoulders.

"You're a siphon." He says leaving me shocked.

"That's not true." Bonnie states, "You're just making up hope since I sent my magic out of here instead of us."

"I'm not lying, Bonnie. Don't tell me you've never the energy around her." Kai says.

She doesn't say anything and she just looks at me as if she is worried for me.
