Grace's POV
"It doesn't feel right." Bonnie says as she tries to do the locator spell, "Maybe I need a bigger map." She says as Damon walks in.
"Maybe you're just out of practice, and you suck at magic now." Damon says as he drinks his bourbon.
"Damon, shut up. Bonnie doesn't need any negative comments." I say as I put my book down, "What she needs is someone to cheer her on." I say walking to the table, "Gooo, Bonnie!" I cheer.
"Just because you were a cheerleader doesn't mean you have to be a ray of sunshine." Damon says.
"Ignore them, Bonnie. Pretend they're a white noise machine. That's how I used to tune out my siblings. I grew up with a ton of little brothers and sisters." He says getting closer to Bonnie, "You know, all of them constantly yammering. But it taught me how to focus." He says.
"Easy there, big brother. She doesn't know you. At least by her a drink." Damon says.
"I'm sensing negative energy." I sing looking at Damon, and he rolls his eyes.
Bonnie continues chanting and I see the blood moving.
"It's working."
"The bloods moving towards Virginia. That can't be right." Kai says.
"Spell's working. It's showing me Mystic Falls." She indicates, "Feels so...close." She says as she walks toward Kai, "Its right here." She touches Kai's chest and the candles go out.
"Very good." Kai says as he takes out the ascendant from his jacket.
"That's the ascendant?" I ask.
"The one and only." He responds.
"Thanks for the mind games, jackass." Damon says.
"It was just another little test to make sure Bonnie's magic was precise enough for the spell." Kai states, "I do believe you're ready. Pack your bags. We're going home.
A few moments later Kai goes outside with the ascendant. He brings it up to the sky as if he's looking for something.
"You're wondering around like a crazy person, why?" Damon says.
"I'm looking for the exact right spot." Kai responds.
"Exact spot for what?" I say as I walk up to him.
"We need to find where the power of the eclipse is focused." He says getting closer to me.
"You could've showed us the ascendant to begin with." Bonnie states.
"But I wanted to feel your hand in my chest." Kai flirts.
"Somethings not right about him." I hear Bonnie mumble to Damon.
"You're just not used to guys hitting on you." Damon responds.
"You know, I can't wait to get out of here, and talk to somebody else." Bonnie says.
"Can we have a few seconds of peace while this idiot uses that thing to get the stars to align?" I hear Damon say as they keep walking forward.
Then I pick up one of the newspapers that Damon has used as paper airplanes. 'FAMILY MASSACRED IN PORTLAND' is what catches my eye. 'Sister left for dead' I read of the newspaper. '20- year old Malachai missing after massacre' I read of the newspaper and it leaves me suspicious.
"Oregon." I read of the newspaper.
"What?" Damon and Bonnie ask.
"I read this a thousand times. There's something here about Oregon." I say as I try to catch up to them.
