Monday. 1 week without him.

I couldn't take it anymore. It has been 1 week without hearing from him at all. What the absolute fuck was going on? Did he get aborted by aliens? Kidnapped by sirens? Fell into another realm?

I could not concentrate on any other task as my mind kept wandering to the thought of him. I guess love really does control you sometimes.

But I couldn't stand not having any contact with him anymore, it was almost driving me nuts as if my heart would stop if I didn't have my usual dose of him.

[some time later...]

"Hey, Hyojae. I need to speak to you for a moment." It was the end of chemistry class. Someone called for me.

"What the fuck, don't call me that here." I snapped and turned around to the voice, seeing Jaehyun unsurprisingly.

"...Sorry. Anyways, this isn't about you. It's about Yuta." He sighed.

"Yeah? What about him?" I asked defensively.

"See, I told you something bad would happen to whoever sticks near her." Two other girls whispered not-so-softly for me to hear, snickering as they strutted away.

Jaehyun raised his eyebrows as I avoided his eye contact. "Don't look at me with pity in your eyes, who's fault do you think it is that this happens?" I  slumped onto a nearby seat.

"I'm sorry, I--" I cut him off. "Nevermind, I'm too tired to discuss this again. Just go back to what you were saying before."

He licked his dried lips and shifted uncomfortably in his seat. "I need to know where Yuta is. He's been missing class for too long and exams are nearing. He'll fail his classes at this rate."

I sucked back my personal grudges for him and thought reasonably for once. "Right but, I've tried looking for him too, you have no idea how hard I tried. But I can't seem to reach him at all..."

"I'll see for myself how it's like at his place, I'll need you to bring me there. That alright?" He reluctantly asked, expecting a 'no' from me.

Sigh."Sure."
