A rough day

It is the first day of senior year for my sister and I apparently don't sleep in the house anymore since I'm the size of the barn. A dump truck pulls into the driveway and opens the rear door. My father walks outside and pays the man and dumps the fish into a hole in the ground. The man then drives away from the house.

"Time for breakfast bud. Fresh fish!" My father called out and from the trees, a 15-foot tall lizard walking on two legs starts wagging its tail from side to side. "You know your not a dog right?" My father asked. "Yes, I know dad, is Ally ready for Senior year of high school?" the lizard said as he grabs a handful of fish and eats it. "I would hope so but I'm not entirely sure." Tristan stops eating and asks "How so?" His father takes a deep breath and says "Well you see son teenagers like your sister would make friends at school and sometimes they just want to hang out like somewhere in town or at each other's house. The problem with people coming here..." He gets cut off. "Because of me, I know." Before his father could say anything else the garage door opens and Ally's truck pulls out and rolls down the window waving goodbye and drives off to school.

Moments later a small red speaker starts playing Paradise City by Guns N' Roses and the lizard starts pulling trees and breaking them up into small pieces then stacking them up into a nice pile. The lizard then grabs a bail of hay and sets it down in the horse pen.

Six hours later,
The sun starts setting when all of a sudden the cops show up and they tell my parents that the school just had a mass kidnapping and my sister was one of the 12 kids that were taken. The cops then leave but before my parents knew, I was gone. Using the cover of the dark I blended into the night. I get to the school I find a piece of cloth from my sister's jacket. "She left this on purpose." I catch a scent and avoiding being seen by people I went into the forest near the lava butte. I start to hear voices and I listen closely. "Yo man how much longer?" Said a man holding an AK-47. "We wait until the boss gets here." Said another man holding a pump-action shotgun. Knowing I can't wait for their boss I started to walk towards them. The ground shakes for each step I take. "What the hell is that?!" Said the man as he points his flashlight at my head. My eyes glow from the light and I then scream a loud roar and they run.

"What the hell was that?" One of the kids whispered. "Was that a fucking bear?" Said a teenage girl. Ally stands up and walks to the door. "I'll go look and I'll tell you if it's safe." She said as she walks outside. She looks around and sees me lowering my head down to her level. The door opens as the kids peek out of the door to see my sister putting her hand on a giant lizard's nose. "Holy shit is that what made that noise?" Said a teenage boy. The other teenagers walk out and see the giant lizard retracts his dorsal fins. The lizard's tail lowers as the teenagers climb the lizard. The lizard stands up and starts walking through the forest.

Five minutes later the lizard stops behind a hedge near a police station. The teenagers climb off the lizard from his tail. Most of the teenagers walk to the police station but Ally talks to the lizard. "Thank you, Tristan. If you hadn't shown up we'd all be dead. Don't worry about mom and dad I'll make them understand. Now head on home I'll be there soon." I trust my sister as I start walking home while I still had the night sky.

An hour goes by the parents arrive at the station relieved that they are alright. A woman with dark brown hair walks into the station and introduces herself. "Alright everyone can I have your attention please, my name is Detective Jessica Sanchez and I understand how relieved you all to have your children back but I would like to set up a debriefing tomorrow after school just so we can find out what happened during the kidnapping and what happened after. A man from the back of the crowd called out "Ally." Everyone looked back and saw Ally's father. Ally stood up and went to her father. Without hesitation, they both got in the car and drove away from the police station. they are quiet for most of the trip. "Dad please understand what Tristan did to save me was the only way. The men that kidnapped us were waiting for someone to show up and I believe that they were going to kill us. please don't let the government hurt him for protecting me." Her father exhales."Ally, you know that I love you and Tristan and I would never let them hurt him, or else I'd be a failer as a father. I'm just glad you are safe. I promise you no one is going to hurt your brother." They arrive at the house and see that Tristan is back and asleep.
