(Once again readers this is another chapter that takes place in another character's perspective but it's still Mira and it takes place after the previous chapter)
Back at Xion's kingdom, he gathered his generals in the war room with his son Kanan and Mira was standing behind him.
"What do you mean he's missing!?" Xion said as he slams the table
"The recovery team said they never saw him come back from Hawaii, I don't want to jump to conclusions but we should be prepared for an attack." Said a creature with blades as hands. The rest of the generals agree.
"My king since the machine is nearing competition we can make a statement to the humans to buy us more time. If the humans are smart enough they will leave Bend and we won't have to worry about any resistance because they would have evacuated them from the town." Said Derek as Xion gave him a smile.
(Alright reader's I understand that the chapter is very short but that is because what happens next is going to be a lot of things.)
