The Gaurdian

The sun rises and Tristan wakes up and sees Mira is still asleep. He then hears the door open and quickly turns back into his kaijin form. He sees it is Sam, Ally, and his parents.
"How are you doing this morning bud?" Asked Sam
"Better now that Greg isn't trying to hurt her." Said Tristan
"About that, Greg didn't know she was like you. I assure you no harm shall come to the girl." Said Sam
"What's going on? There's something your not telling me." Said Tristan
"We have an issue we need to discuss with you." Sam said as they went to the room that is near the cave. Sam turns on a monitor and replays a message.
"We got this message 30 minutes ago." Said Sam as the message begins. A man with red hair and eyes like fire appears on the message.
"Hello, my name is Rok and I have information for you. Recently your world discovered the existence of my species known as Kaijin and it appears that you have one protecting your human race. Little did your Dagon know that his heroic act caught the attention of my people in the west but also caught the attention of my allies to the south. Long have we waited for a chance to fight against the false king that Dagon repelled. You must keep him alive if there is any chance of stopping Xion. I recently sent the cleaning crew to your town as a sign of trust. To Dagon, I say this to you Xion is afraid of you so he won't come at you directly. He will test your abilities by sending his followers to fight you. I can't risk the lives of my people now, not until we know we have a chance. All you have to do is stay alive and protect your home, but most of all protect the girl you saved. Her name is princess Mira of the eastern Mothra tribe. She is the last of her kind as much as you are as well. I will contact you again when I get more information from my spy that gathers intel on Xion and his movements." Said Rok as the message ends.
"So yeah that is what we need to discuss. There is an enemy that no human can make a scratch on is starting a war that as of yesterday you became a part of and now we have two potential allies that want to help you but your gonna have to fight a bunch of lackeys that will want to kill you." Said Sam
"My brother was protecting those people from that Xion guy. So what if he came to the rescue that doesn't mean he has to fight them." Said Ally
"It doesn't matter." Said Mira as they all look at her.
"What do you mean?" Asked Tristan
"You choose to fight or not Xion won't care, it's either he sends one soldier at a time or he'll bring his conquering army and he will lay waste to your town. So it all depends on you, Tristan." Said Mira
"Even if he has to fight them he was lucky enough to take down those creatures the looked bone thin. If we could train him some fighting techniques he may stand a better chance." Said Sam
Mira looks at Tristan.
"Show them." Said Mira
They all look at Tristan as he turns into his human form and their eyes widen with disbelief.
"Holy shit your human again!" Said Sam
"How is this possible?" Said Ally
"Mira showed me her memories of her life and through her memories, I learned how to transform. I also saw what Xion is capable of. He attacked Mira's village when she was just a child. She would have died but the golden one saved her and protected her like she was his sister. Kanan is his name right." Said Tristan as Mira nods her head.
"Do you think Kanan would help train Tristan?" Asked Sam
"I don't know." Said Mira
After about a week of training Tristan in close combat fighting the first opponent challenges Dagon. The kaijin looked half creature and half cyborg.
"This kaijin is an assassin class fighter. They use their arm blades to cut down their opponents. Luckily only the war chief of the assassins can change his weapons at will while the rest can't. The species they descend from is called the Gigan." Said Mira
Tristan faces his opponent using the techniques of a Shaolin to defeat his enemy. Tristan lets the Gigan get up.
"Return to your king and tell him no matter what he sends at me I will not kill any of you." Said Tristan
Three days later another kaijin soldier appears. A grey giant has a small head and a big body. Its hands had only three fingers on each hand.
"Another creature that is similar to a chameleon can change his appearance depending on the kaijin. He needs to physically touch someone to copy them. His species is called Orga." Said Mira
Dagon defeats Orga with a tree covered in flames.
Two days later a message is sent to Dagon saying "I have information of extreme interest to you. Meet me at the Old Mill District at the Regal theater. Bring Mira and her alone with you." Not sure whether to trust this contact or not but with no other options, Dagon changed into his human form and with the help of his sister she took Dagon and Mira to Old Mill District. They waited by the theater when they were greeted by the one who sent the message. It was Kanan.
"Kanan it's you. Why are you here." Said Mira
"I come as a friend to Dagon to bring him the news." Said Kanan
"What is the news." Said Dagon
"My father is getting reckless and he wants this to end quickly so he can move forward with his plan. He will send one more challenger." Said Kanan
"Who is it?" Said Mira
"Kong was willing to volunteer to fight him. You should know Dagon, Kong is not like your average brawlers. He is brutal with his combat tactics and his advantage in using tools in his fights. If he has anything to use as a weapon he will not hesitate to use them." Said Kanan
"Why are you telling me this." Said Dagon
"Because I want to keep my sister safe. My father sees her as a traitor and wants to see her dead. But it's not just Mira I want to protect. Someone that I care about lives here in Bend." Said Kanan as he starts to walk away but is stopped by Dagon grabbing his shoulder.
"If your willing to protect your sister and the one you care about then why don't you just join us?" Said Dagon
"If I stay on the inside of my father's court I can gather more intel. Till then I'll be in touch." Said Kanan as he walked away. Dagon and Mira return home to the cave.

Kanan arrives at a hotel across the river near Old Mill District and goes to a room on the fourth floor. He knocks on the door.
"Who is it?" Said a female voice coming from the room.
"It's me, Jess." Said Kanan as the door opens. It was detective Jessica and she wrapped her arms around Kanan then kissed him.
"How'd it go?" Said Jessica
"He knows what's going on now." Said Kanan as he kisses her back. The two go to a fancy restaurant in the downtown area of Bend. Kanan is quiet for a while.
"What's wrong Kanan?" Said Jessica
"It's nothing. I'm good." Said Kanan as Jessica places her hand on his.
"Kanan." Said Jessica
"The kid asked me to help him train for Kong." Said Kanan
"What did you say?" Said Jessica
"I told him I should stay at the kingdom so I can keep updating him. Only now I think I'm lying to myself thinking my father could change." Said Kanan
"The choices we all make good or bad it is always ours. I think you know what you need to do." Said Jessica

The next day Jessica and Kanan arrive at Dagon's home. they walk into his enclosure and see him lifting a large boulder. Dagon sees them and drops the boulder. he then turns into his human form. Mira comes out of some bushes wearing her rainbow dress.
"Kanan, what are you doing here?" Said Mira
"We thought that you couldn't risk coming here." Said Dagon
"That was before. Now I think it is a good idea if I train you for your next fight with Kong." Said Kanan
