Ruby's pov

I wake up with a warm feeling around me i open my eyes and see blake asleep with her arms wrapped around me "it wasn't a dream" i think to myself enjoying the feeling then she begins to wake up opening her eyes and looking at me "morning blake" i say "morning ruby" she says "i don't know what to do i don't want to move" i say "neither do i" she says "do you want to just stay here for awhile" i ask and she pulls me in closer "i would love to" she says and we stay there for awhile enjoying each others company

"are you girls ever gonna get up you're gonna miss breakfast" kali says "yeah we'll get up" blake says and she sits up "guess we should get up you can borrow my clothes" blake says "ok" i say and we get dressed and head to the kitchen "aww you to look so cute" kali says "mom don't be embarrassing" blake says and we sit at the table eating our food "you guys didn't do anything last night did you" ghira asks "no of course not" blake says "good you're to young for that" he says and after we're done eating we sit on the couch me on blakes lap watching tv and i hear the sound of a camera "you two are so cute i can't handle it" kali says "mom stop being embarrassing" blake says "sorry i just wanted a picture" she says and then i get a call on my scroll "hello" i say "you have some friends who are looking for you they said to meet you at the park" mom explains "weird i guess i will go see what they want" i say "alright" mom says hanging up "who was that" blake asks "it was my mom apparently someone wants me to meet them at the park" i say "we should go see what they want" blake says "yeah lets go" i say and we head out to the park

Blake's pov

When we are about to enter the park ruby stops me "blake i need you to do something" ruby says "what is it" i ask "wait here and call the police" she says "what why" i ask "it wasn't our friends who called me here" she says and i look out seeing adam with two others "ruby you can't go out there" i say "i have no choice just stay here and call the police don't come out no matter what" she says "but" i say "do it" she says seriously and i nod calling the police as ruby walks out to them "what's your emergency" the police woman asks "she's gonna get hurt you have to get over here" i say "alright ma'am calm down where are you" she asks "we're at the park please hurry" i say "alright we're sending people now they will be there shortly" the officer says and i look over seeing ruby getting beat by them and it takes everything i have not to go out there so i just start crying until i hear sirens and cops come arresting all three and i run out to ruby "sorry i guess i lied about getting hurt" she says "no you didn't do anything wrong" i say and the paramedics pick her up and i go with them as they take her to the hospital

At the hospital they take her into a room i can't go in to check her injuries so im lost in my mind thinking of everything i could have done to prevent this making me sit there and cry "blake what happened" yang asks with two others i assume are their parents "it was adam he got mad and he" i begin but can't finish due to crying then the doctor says we can go in but i can't knowing ill be a total wreck "blake she's asking for you" yang says and i walk in seeing ruby on the bed with a cast on her arm and bruises all over making me start crying "don't cry its not that bad" she says "but if i didn't" i begin "don't you start blaming yourself if you went out there it would be both of us in the hospital im just glad you're ok" she says "but you're not ok" i say "come here" she says and i sit down next to her bed "you didn't do anything wrong so stop crying you're much cuter when you're happy" she says "i feel like we're missing something here can you explain" yang asks and we explain what happened with adam "ruby you knocked a guy out why would you do that" her mom asks "he was the reason blake didn't talk" ruby says "still you shouldn't have punched him" she says "i regret nothing" ruby says proudly "even with your broken arm" yang says "no because i can do this now" ruby says before kissing me "oh now i get it" the man i assume is ruby's dad says "congrats" yang says "oh you two are adorable" the mom says "you sound like Blake's mom" ruby says making me laugh a bit "well Blake's mom is right" she says and i get a call on my phone "hello" i say "where did you two disappear to i thought you would be back by now" mom says "ruby got attacked and now were in the hospital" i say "oh no we are going to come is she ok" mom asks "yes she is mostly fine" i say "alright we will be there soon" she says hanging up "i guess my parents are coming" i say "cool" ruby says and after a little while they show up "oh sweetie they really did a number on you" mom says to ruby "i got a couple good hits in" ruby says "i assume you are Blake's parents" Ruby's mom asks them "yes im kali" mom says "im summer its nice to meet you" she says "ghira" dad says "tai" rubys dad says shaking hands "who did this" dad asks "it was adam" i say and dad growls "its ok he was arrested" ruby says "still this is not acceptable" dad says "there is nothing we can do" i say tgen the doctor walks in "well it seems other than the broken arm she is fine so she is allowed to go" he says "yay im free" she says standing up "but i would advise you not to do anything physical for awhile" he says "ok i won't" ruby says and we walk out the hospital
