Ruby's pov

The doctor released me from the hospital and i went home it has been hard getting used to the cast on my arm but i have had everyone helping me im heading to third period and blake is helping me carry my stuff wich i don't really need help but she feels guilty and i like having her around so i don't say anything "alright blake im here i can handle it now" i say "ok ill see you later" she says "bye" i say before walking into class "oh my what happened ruby" pyrrha asks "i fought a group of thugs a couple days ago" i say "you're lying" weiss says "no im not i actually got in a fight with thugs" i say "how did that happen" pyrrha asks "well they were mad at me because i knocked one of them out the day before" i explain "why did you do that" weiss asks "he was the reason blake never talked" i explain "you really care about blake don't you" pyrrha says "yes as long as she is happy i am happy" i say "wow you have it bad" weiss says "you know im pretty sure blake likes you to" pyrrha says "oh yeah i didn't tell you me and blake are going out" i say "oh congratulations" pyrrha says "yeah how are things going with you and jaune" i ask "she still hasn't found the courage to ask him" weiss says "why not" i ask "he's always focusing on someone else im afraid he won't say yes" pyrrha says "that's true once he even asked me" weiss says "just tell him if he knows someone likes him im sure he'll reciprocate" i say "ok i will" pyrrha says sounding confident and then the teacher walks in so we stop talking

Class ends and i head to forth period seeing a girl i don't know sitting at our table "hello" i say "salutations im penny" she says "im ruby its nice to meet you are you new" i ask "yes but i have been doing fine so far" she says and blake walks in "who's this" she asks "this is penny she is new here" i explain "oh well hello penny im blake" she says "salutations" penny says "so why did you transfer" i ask "my father said this school was better than my previous one" she explains "oh alright" blake says "what happened to your arm" penny asks "i got in a fight" i say "are you one of those delinquents" she asks "of course she's not she got in a fight with thugs" blake says "oh im sorry for assuming" she says "its alright" i say "so what are your interests" she asks and at the sane time we say each others names "so you guys are good friends" she asks "try girlfriends" blake says "as in romantically" she asks "yes" blake says "my father says that lesbians aren't good people" she says "well not be mean but your fathers views are outdated" i say "i believe so as well and it makes it hard to tell him" she says and we know what she means "im sorry you're welcome with us though" i say "yeah" blake says "thank you" she says "yeah its what friends are for" i say and she looks excited "are we really friends" she asks "of course we are" i say "did i hear you right" a girl says walking over "what did you hear" blake asks "that you two are going out" she says "yes we are why" i ask "well we were wondering when you were going to finally get together" she says "who's we" blake asks "the whole class almost" she says "what do you mean" i ask "yeah we have seen the way you talk to each other and have been wondering when it would finally happen" she explains "since when" blake asks "two weeks now even the teacher is in on it" she says "i don't know how i feel about this" i say "yeah i don't really like the fact people have been talking about us behind our backs" blake says "sorry but i promise its all good things" she says "alright but please don't do it anymore" blake says "hey im trying to teach why are you talking" the teacher asks "because it happened" she says "what happened" the teacher asks "blake and ruby got together" she says and the class starts clapping with some kids handing money to others "you were betting" blake asks annoyed and some students nod "well congratulations but please don't interrupt my class" the teacher says "sorry" the girl says sitting back down "how did this happen" blake asks embarrassed "i don't know but i hope this doesn't happen again" i say and we wait for class to end with some people congratulating us before we get out and head to our lockers "hey ruby how did school go" yang asks "with the arm it was fine but fourth period was embarrassing" i say "what happened in forth period" she asks "turns out the whole class was waiting for us to get together and cheered when they found out" i say getting embarrassed thinking about it "yikes that sounds rough" she says "you have no idea some of them were even betting" i say "you know they wouldn't be thinking that if you two weren't always so flirty" she says "when are we flirty" i ask "really you two are always staring at each other with those googly eyes" she says "alright fair point" i say "anyway did you meet the new girl" yang asks "penny" i ask "yeah she's really weird" yang says "she is a little weird but she's pretty nice" i say "ill take your word for it" yang says and we walk out to the car
