Chapter 12

It had been two weeks since I had told the guys about the loss of my parents. I had spent very little time in the dormitory because I wanted to be alone, which meant spending a lot of time in the library.

I was about to start a new book when my phone vibrated.

Y/N it's nearly 3am, when
are you coming back?

Full Sun☀️:
We're worried about you,
we'll come see you if you want.

Y/N💋
I'm in the library Hyuck. You
guys don't have to go
out of your way to see me.

Y/N💋:
You guys should all be asleep.

I knew they wouldn't sleep until they knew I was okay, I thought it was sweet but it also made me worried because I knew they would be tired and grumpy in the morning. So I just decided to pick up my book and start it while I waited.

"Y/N, you should get some sleep." I heard Jisung speak behind me, this made me turn around to look at them. They all looked so cute in their pyjama trousers and hoodies. What made a couple of them even cuter was that they were wearing their glasses.

"I'm not tired Ji, but you guys didn't have to come here to see me. It's late and we have class in 6 hours." I said in a worried tone.
"What is sleep? I don't know her." Mark said while chuckling softly, causing the rest of us to laugh.
"Why don't we head to bed guys? Since it's getting late." I whispered while pointing at Jisung and Chenle who had fallen asleep at the table we were sat around.

Renjun and Mark picked up the sleeping boys while the rest of us opened the doors as we made our way across the campus to the building we needed. It was a rather peaceful night, not too hot or too cold. The view of the sky was breathtaking, it wasn't until I felt Jeno tap my shoulder that I noticed I had stopped and was staring at the sky.
"You okay? You seem distant. Like I know what happened must be really hard for you. But you know you can talk to us." He spoke softly.
"Princess. What's wrong?" Jaemin spoke out of nowhere, while walking towards us.
"Nothing, I'm just looking at the sky. It's beautiful don't ya think?" I replied, as I began walking forward.
"No Jams right you know? We're all here for you. You're like our sister." He said, pulling me into a hug.

After a few minutes of walking in silence we were finally back in our room so I decided to put on my pyjamas and go to bed. I figured even if couldn't sleep I'd still be warm and comfortable. "Mark, are you up?" I said in a whisper, trying not to wake up the others. "Yeah, what do you need?" He responded in a low voice rolling over to face me.
"If it's not too much trouble, could you maybe come cuddle me..." I asked, waiting for his reply. He didn't say anything he just climbed out of his bed and walked over to mine, to which I slid over to the side to make room for him.
"Why are you still up? You should be asleep. When was the last time you got a full night sleep?" His voice was laced with worry.
"When was the last time YOU got a full night sleep?" I replied, equally worried for him. That was the last thing I remember before falling asleep in his warm embrace.

"They look so cute." Chenle screeched.
"We'll be quiet, if you wake them up I'll eat you." Renjun said in response.
I didn't know what they were talking about but I also didn't want to know so I just kept my eyes closed and said "Can you guys be quiet? I'm trying to sleep."
"Chenle, what did I tell you?" Renjun said in a hushed voice.
"You had one job." This time it Jisung piped up.
I decided it was probably time to see what they were fussing about, when I opened my eyes I noticed Mark still hugging me. "What are you guys fussing about. He's just hugging me. You guys hug me all the time."
"Yeah, but you've never slept while we've hugged you." Jaemin said cutely while pouting at me.
"Is Nana jealous?" I chuckled, this caused Mark to wake up. He just looked up at me and smiled. "Good morning Markie."

A few minutes had passed and the 6 boys that were crowded around us had returned to their beds. It was nice to know they cared about me, even though I had pushed them away. "Do you guys wanna head down and get food?" I said while stretching. They just hummed in response, so we put on our hoodies and shoes. The walk to the dining room was quiet, but it was a nice kind of quiet. That was until we saw the others... "Good morning guys. I hope you all slept well and hope you all have a good day." Ten seemed really happy considering how early in the morning it was.
"Morning guys. Why's he so happy?" I looked at Jaehyun, in hopes that he could provide me with an answer.
"Why don't you ask him or Tae." He looked in their direction.
"What happened?" I questioned as I turned to face them.
"Tae may or may not be my new boyfriend." Ten spoke confidently and he sounded like a happy child. It was really cute and I couldn't help but smile at them.

We all commented on how happy we were for the new couple and then walked to the dining room. The atmosphere suddenly changed as we entered. The room was filled with silence and there were no snide remarks as I walked past people. There were only looks that showed sympathy. It felt nice that no one was talking about me, but it wasn't as nice when I thought about why they weren't. But I brushed it off and took my seat beside Jeno, I wasn't that hungry so I just rested my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes. "I've missed hanging out with you guys. I'm sorry I've been distant recently."
"You have nothing to apologize for. We'd be the same in your position. If anything I think you're handling it way better then I would." Jaehyun spoke as he rubbed my back to reassure me.
"On a lighter note, I heard my brother is coming here in a couple days to organize everything with me. It's been so long since I've seen him. I think I was 14 when he left to join the company he's been in for nearly 4 years. That means you guys can finally meet him."
