Chaper 2: First day back

I woke up feeling refreshed and checked the time. It was 7:43, so I decided to shower and get ready as the other students would be arriving at 10. I looked at the sleeping figures on the floor and quietly chuckled to myself. "Hopefully they will give us the bigger bedroom this year," I let out a small sigh stepping over a sleeping Jeno, "Then we could all share a room without those four sleeping on our floor."

Once I was washed and dressed I went back into my room. It was empty and I spotted a note on my bed.

"To Y/N,
We've gone to the dining hall for breakfast. Join us when you're finished."

I was grateful they had left a note but slightly annoyed they had gone without me, so I put on my shoes and lazily walked to the dining hall. When I arrived I was greeted by the smell of coffee and half a dozen voices yelling "Good Morning" across the empty room.
"Good Morning, where is Lele?" I shouted in response.
As I went to step forward I felt a pair of arms snake around me. "Your prince is here now Y/N." He said after letting go and running to the others.

I just chuckled and slowly walked to the far corner where they were sat. It had started of feel normal being in such a quite space. But you knew it would be short lived because it was nearly 10 and that meant the corridors would be filled with the laughter and shouting of hundreds of teens. It also meant I would have to say goodbye to my friends until tonights dinner because all the girls would be all over them.
