If some scenes aren't true to what actually happens other than those including the reader, it's because I haven't watched the movie in 3 years. I apologize for any mistakes! I'll fix it when I get the chance to rewatch the movie again.

"Coraline?" My mom's voice called out as she opened the small door.

"Mom?" I asked, relief starting to flood over me.

"Coraline! You came back for us." She said, looking at me.

"Mom!" I said, rushing to finish crawling through the small space before I went to hug her. She didn't have button eyes, making me feel so relieved and happy as I hugged her tightly, the door closing behind me.

"Darling, why would you run away from me?" She asked.

"What do you mean-?" I thought, before I felt her body start changing; making me let go of her as she transformed.

Her body was growing taller and skinner, her original clothes falling off as she morphed into the other mother. Her black dress showed her metal limbs, making me back away from her as I looked up at her tall figure.

"Where are my parents?" I asked, looking over her as I did my best to contain my fear.

"Gosh, I have no idea where your old parents are. Perhaps they've grown bored of you and run away to France." She thought, uninterested.

"They weren't bored of me. You stole them!" I argued, glaring at her.

"Now, don't be difficult, Coraline. Have a seat, won't you?" Once she said that, a huge chair that looked like a giant bug came behind me and sat me in the seat.

"Mmm." I faintly heard from my right side. Glancing over, I noticed (Y/n) hiding behind a wall. She placed a finger over her lips, signaling me to keep quiet. I nodded and focused my attention back on the other mother.

"Why don't you have your own key?" I asked.

"Only one key." She answered.

"How about you go help your father, dear? I'm sure he's busy." She told me after a long moment of silence between us. Nodding, I stood up and slowly walked away, glancing back at her as discreetly as possible as my heart pounded in my chest.

"(Y/n)!" I exclaimed when I met her outside my parent's room.

"Shh!" She hushed quietly, glancing around.

"Sorry, I've just been keeping things on the downlow. As far as the other mother is concerned, I'm still in the "other world" instead of coming back with you." (Y/n) admitted with a soft sigh.

"How did things go while hiding from her?" I asked.

"It's been, alright. I was able to eat, which was good. That cat helped me stay hidden, and even had Wybie help me get situated to go back and forth between our worlds. They said it would be best to sleep and eat there but stay here the rest of the time for when you came back to help you." She confessed.

"Oh? Wybie, huh?" I asked, smiling. She blushed and nodded.

"Yeah. But I haven't seen him in awhile." She admitted thoughtfully.

"Try not to worry too much about him. I'm sure he'll be fine." I assured, smiling at her. She nodded with a sigh and a smile.

"Come on. Let's go talk to your dad for a bit."

Knocking on my dad's door, it squeaked opened before showing him at his piano.

"Hey dad."
