I was flying.

Floating above the ground. I felt safe and protected, just invincable. Maybe I was dead. Maybe I was in paradise, with rainbows and cookies everywhere. Or maybe it was like a dream, and when I opened my eyes I would stop floating, but I didn't want to.

There was the faint scent of mint and ciggeretes filling my nose. I recognized the smell immediently.

"G-Gerard?" I whispered not bothering to open my eyes.

"Becky? You awake?"

"I'm dead..." I grumbled. He chuckled. "Ugh, my face must look so ugly right now."

"You've just been beaten unconsious, hit on the head by a bottle, and God knows what else. And you're worried about how you look?"

"Shut up, I'm a girl." I mumbled and he laughed.

"Becky, open your eyes."

"No, I don't wanna stop flying. I'm dead, remember?"

"C'mon, I'm worried your blind."

"Never! I fell safe and invincible wherever I am. Nothing can hurt me. As soon as I open my eyes it'll all go away."

"Please? I promise the feeling will stay."

"Ugh, fine." I blinked open my eyes to be greeting by darkness, along with bright hazel eyes. We were moving somehow, I felt footsteps underneath me. I looked to my left to see a sidewalk, and to my right I was greeted by Gerard's shoulder. He looked down and grinned, then I realised my one arm was around his neck, the other latched on to his shirt. I felt cool air on my stomach as I saw the sweatshirt was lifted up.

The scars quickly caught my eye and I reached to pull the sweatshirt down. I reached up to my hair, but realised it was matted with blood. I gasped and moved my hand down to my face. It hurt at the slightest touch. I winced in pain and put my hand over his shoulder.

"How'd you find me, Gee?"

"Asked the guy where you went, he said bathroom, you weren't there, so I checked to alley. I picked you up and now I'm carrying you home.

"My house or yours?" I asked, trying to see where we were going. He giggled. I instantly regretted what I said and blushed a bit.

"Yours. But I assume your mom isn't home, so I called the guys over."He said looking at the road again. Just then a throbbing headache hit me like a slap in the face. I shut my eyes and clutched his shirt.

"Oh nurse Gerard? Are we almost there? My head hurts."

"Yeah. Can you walk?" I saw our condo building in front of us.

"I can't really feel much, so no." He sighed. "There's a ramp." He smirked and went up the ramp ,thankfully my flat was on the second level. "Key's in my pocket." He awkwardly reached in the hoodie pocket and pulled out my set of keys on a lanyard. Just then we heard pounding from down the hall and a ragged and tired Frank appeared. His face went ple when he saw me.

"I know, I look gorgeous right." I rolled my eyes as Gee carried me to the couch. He layed me down and Frank was soon at my side.

"Hey, Frankie" I forced a sad smile but it hurt my cheeks. He held my hand.

"Hiya, Beck." he stroked my cheek lightly with his thumb but I couldn't help but close my eyes in pain.

"Frankie can you get me a wet rag, water, Tylenol, and some disinfectant?" I asked politely with my eyes still closed. I felt him squeeze my hand before letting go. I layed back and relaxed. Then I realised something-Gerard must've somehow seen my stomach. My ribs, and the cuts.
