Alison followed her mother in what she assumed was the indoor garden that Kira mentioned before. What she was not aware, was that said indoor garden was filled completely with bioluminecent plant life. She looked around in complete awe as everything around her was glowing with unnatural light.
The trees had vine-like slivers of light glowing up their trunks. Their leaves glowed with same light, and each tree glowed a different color. Luna seemed to enjoy watching Alison's expression as they made their way forward, following the grassy path and up to a small pond that couldn't have been two feet deep. There was a small waterfall falling into the small pond, but most impressively was what must have been glowing moss or alge at the bottom of said pond, making it appear that the pond itself was glowing.
"This is incredible." Alison stared in awe, turning in circles as she walked to keep it all in. "Kira mentioned that there was a greenhouse but this is crazy!"
"I take it things like this don't exist in the human world." Luna grinned.
"Only in movies." Alison nodded, following her mother to a stone bench where the two of them sat down and looked out at the pond. Alison was amazed that she couldn't tell where the walls were. This room seemed endless and she honestly didn't know what to make of it. It had to be magic that sustained it, there was no other way.
"Rose has Fairies, Spriggans and Nymphs that tend this garden for her. The glow you see is the accumulation of their magic, in tending to it for so long." Luna explained.
"This is incredible."
"Is there something that you wanted to talk to me about?" Luna questioned.
Alison looked down at her hands before looking up at her mother with a look of sadness on her face. "Did Kira talk to you before she chose to hide me?"
Luna nodded a bit and closed her eyes, as if trying to supress the guilt from crawling back to the surface. "We all spoke. It wasn't just her decision."
"I know you all did what you thought was best, but why didn't you ask me first?" Alison questioned.
"We knew Agora would stop at nothing to find you, but we also knew you wouldn't want to be hidden away and separated from Kira."
"I wouldn't have wanted to know. But I'm sure you could have asked me."
"Are you mad with us?"
"I was at first. But after seeing how desperate Alice was to catch me, I knew that Agora would be the same way." Alison explained. "I guess, I just wanted to know how you felt about it."
"I hated it." Luna confessed, getting Alison to look a bit shocked. "I hated the idea that I had to send you away where I might never be able to see you again, just to make sure that you would survive. I knew Kira would watch over you, but I also knew that she would likely be too frightened to be hurt again to make the attempt to talk with you again."
"I guess I should be grateful Kira descided to talk to me again then." Alison smiled. "But I'm glad to hear that it hurt you to send me away."
"If I could have gone and looked for you myself I would have. But I needed to remain here so Agora couldn't send anyone to find me. After all, if my child was a hybrid it might be the child of the prophecy."
"So they weren't concerned with you here?"
"Rose and I were like sisters, and so her children were like my neices. Agora and Zia didn't consider my existance a threat, but my children were far too great a risk. I'm just so glad you have you back with me."
"I'm glad to be back. Why is Zia so desperate to prove something here?"
"I don't know." Luna shrugged. "I don't know her as well as Rose and her children do. From my perspective she's a spoiled child who damands that everything goes her way at all times."
