We are about 5 minutes from school when I remember that Ali had told me to stay away from Ashton. What would she do if she saw me get out of his car again. I was sitting there almost in panic when I look up at the sidewalk to see Blake. "Hey Ash do you mind dropping me off right here?" "uh why?" "I see Blake and he looks lonely so I was gonna walk with him." "oh" he looks straight ahead and after what felt like forever but in reality was only a few seconds he says "sure" I kiss his cheek "Love you Ash" "love you too Em" he says sounding a bit frustrated. I get out of the car and run over to Blake. "Hey Blake" "Hey Emma! How are you feeling?" "A lot better then yesterday! Thanks for asking! You ready for day 2?" "ha no. Not at all. But seeing you makes coming a whole lot better" he says smiling and making me blush. I look down so he wont see the redness on my face.

I've made it through the first half of school and now it's time for lunch. I am not ready to see Ali but what can you do. I go get my lunch and just like always Ashton waves me over. I go sit with him but sit across from him so that he wont hug me and Ali wont have a reason to slice me today. He looks at me weird as if to say "why are sitting there" I smile and shrug my shoulders. Lizzie is out sick today and then goes on vacation next week. What am I going to do with out my bestie for all that time??? I feel something tapping on my leg and I look to see what it is. Ashton is swinging his knee back and forth hitting my knee softly. I laughed at him and he continued to do it. I see Blake and wave him over. He sits next to me and I give him a hug. He hugs me back. I look at him "sorry I just really love hugs" I laugh a bit. He smiles "no worries. I'll take it." I look at Ashton to see him looking down. He has been acting so weird when Blake is around. I can't figure out whats wrong. I thought and was hoping that Ali was out today because I hadn't seen her and she hasn't been to the table yet but unfortunately I was wrong. She came over and kissed Ashton. I looked down playing with my food and I tensed up. I squeezed my knees together to try and stay calm but forgot that Ashton's knee was between my knees and I ended squeezing is his knee in-between mine. He looked at me weird. I just shook my head and looked off. I knew he knew something was wrong but he didn't say anything. I turned around and started talking to Blake. He is really an amazing guy. He is funny and sweet and very attractive. We laughed and talked until lunch was over. Ali finally left a few minutes before lunch was over. "i need to go get a book" Ashton said as he came and gave me a kiss on the side of my head and hugged me. He shook Blake's hand and went to the library. I started getting ready to go to class and so did Blake. "so... um..." Blake seemed to be having trouble and was looking at me and scratching the back go his head. "you ok?" I asked "yeah um I was just wondering if you would want to go see a movie with me or something?" "like a date?" I say smiling. "yeah. Like a date." He says and laughs nervously looking down. "i would love to!" He looks up with a huge smile on his face looking surprised "wait.... Really?" "yeah really!! Do you want my number so you can tell me when?" "yeah that would be great!!" I give him my number and give him a hug telling him that I would see him later.
