When I woke up, I shivered at the coldness of the bed. I grunt and felt around the bed.
"Kris?" I said in a raspy voice. "Where are you, you blasted koala?"
"Yeah?" He came into the room. "Morning you damned panda. Here."
"What's this?" I rubbed my eyes and raised my eyebrows. "Ice for breakfast?"
"For your eyes." He pushed my hand away from my eyes and smirked.
"Huh?" I furrowed my eyebrows.
"Your eyes. They're swollen." He placed it on my left eye and laid down on top of me. "Did you by any chance cried last night?"
"Oh." I smiled and wrapped my arms around him. "Why ever would I cry?"
"Maybe because you missed me so much?" He kissed my forehead.
Relief washed over me as he got of me and rolled to my side. But the longing of him being closer came not long after.
"Where did you go last night?" I said as I drew circles on his chest.
"Noona (older sister in Korean) from work called saying that it was about work but she ended up pulling me to a club. She was heartbroken and she needed a friend to talk to. I tried to escape but she keeps forcing me to stay. She even followed me to the toilet." He sighed. "I'm really sorry I left you dear."
