“Oh, it’s you again, Eleanor!”, Paul declared.
“It’s a jackpot”, Bryan added. “Our main target is right in front of us.”
One of the three women stepped out of the smoke, and Will’s face became serious.
“She’s definitely my aunt, Cynthiene”, he said to us.
“Oh, my dear nephew”, the woman with long red wavy hair said. “Come with me, Will. And we will leave here silently.”
“After what you’ve done in the neighborhood, do you think I will join you!? No way!”, was Will’s furious answer.
“How sad... I just to help you out in improving your skills than your former mentor... Ladies and gentlemen, please retrieve my nephew. It doesn’t matter if someone blocks the way. Consider them as your next targets as well.”
“Yes, boss”, Bryan replied.
“Four against six?”, Beth said. “We’re definitely outnumbered. I guess we have to call for help.”
Paul shot a lightning bolt at Beth, which is blocked by Shane’s “Polarity Shield”.
“Beth”, I whispered to her. “He meant no. And remember, he can use ‘Ion Zap’ on certain intervals. It seems he used that earlier.”
Beth nodded in agreement.
“Paul and Bryan”, Cynthiene called them. “You’ll be the one to get Will. Castel and Katrina will be my line of defence. Support them if needed. Brent, just stay by my side. There’s no need for you to fight unless it’s getting really serious. We’ll wait for the other one since he rented a helicopter.”
“Yes, boss”, the tall guy replied. “Anyway, no one will notice the explosion. I’ve already done the job.”
“Perfect. Let’s go back to our meeting place outside and wait for our helicopter.”
The two disappeared after Brent produced white smoke.
“Let’s go, Bryan!” Paul exclaimed. He winked at him. Bryan nodded.
“I’m really nervous”, Beth whispered to me.
“We have no choice but to defeat these bad guys”, I whispered back to her. “Just think of the frustration you felt when you lost to Shane. Go all-out. The three of us can defend ourselves from your attacks.”
Beth nodded in agreement. She took deep breaths after.
“Shane”, Will called her.
“Yes?”. she asked.
Will and Paul shouted at once.
“Ion Zap!”
“Force Sphere!”
Shane spun around, and sparks appeared on her “Force Sphere”.
“So, it is the counter of any element attacks, huh?”, I thought.
Paul throws Bryan onto us. Shane uses “Push” while Beth rode on her phoenix and flew to follow Cynthiene, but is prevented by Katrina’s ice shards. The phoenix blew a flamethrower at the two girls, which is only absorbed by Castel using her hand. Meanwhile, Bryan lands on the ground and runs toward us and Paul uses “Lightning Stream”.
“Eleanor, do not use ‘Sand Storm’”, Shane whispered. “Just do not let them approach us.”
“Alright.”
Shane activated “Polarity Shield” and deflected Paul’s “Lightning Stream”. I used “Sand Burial” to Bryan in which he somersaults backwards, thus avoiding it. However, he got hit by Will’s “Shadow Dance” but did not flinch. Shane’s “Push” deflected Paul’s “Lightning Stream” again as he almost hit Beth. Will motioned Beth to join them.
