“Come to think of it, how did Dr. Max ranked the eight of you?”, I asked Shane and Will.
She shrugged her shoulders.
“I assume he trained the eight of us individually”, Will answered. “I guess he based it on level of potency. Even though you have arguably the strongest TM in paper, having a low potency on it won’t make you stronger. It all depends on how you use it. Like my time manipulation TM, it is actually deadly if you have high potency on it. You can actually control time and do whatever you want. However, I do have a low potency on it. I can only use ‘Future Vision’ with a low accuracy, and is really exhausting when you use it.”
“I understand”, I sat as we watched X, which happened to be Alexa, battling Ken. “That’s why Ken’s TM is so powerful. I wonder how he trained so hard to achieve that. Alexa too, but... her animal TM lets her to transform into any animal in which its size depends on the potency of her TM.”
“Yes”, Shane added. “Although I’m not sure of what happened to her before we separated. Her simply destroying the Ken’s large black orb implies that Alexa underwent training herself.”
“Actually”, Will interrupted. “That’s the reason why Alexa is better than me. We used to have sparring matches but I lost all of them. Even me myself, I have no idea what kind of TM was that.”
“It might be similar to Castel’s...”, Beth guessed.
“I don’t think so”, Will disagreed. “From the looks of it, Castel can absorb non-physical attacks and transfer it to anyone she prefer. Such characteristics will fall under Energy TM. Alexa’s different though. It is as if she breaks through it, or nullifying it.”
Shane scratches her chin, “Judging on what I saw a while ago, it looks like Alexa has a very high potency of air TM, something like a move called ‘Air Slash’.”
“But she does not have that”, Will added.
Shane further guessed, “Dissolve TM? But it does not look like it. Alexa ripped through it. She did not shrink it into nothingness. Maybe Disperse TM... No. No. It is not applicable against TMs... Probably it might be a TM we haven’t heard about.”
“Anyway”, I interrupted. “Let’s hope that Alexa will win against Ken, and team with her to defeat Cynthiene.”

Alexa, transformed as a bald eagle, lunged towards Ken. He conjures multiple black orbs and uses them to hit Alexa, who maneuvered herself elegantly to avoid the orbs.
“Are you able to break your 13-match losing streak against me?”, Ken taunted her.
Alexa answered by transforming herself into a large porcupine, balled herself and a silver aura enveloped her body.
Ken glared at her, and Alexa slowed down, transformed into a cheetah as she landed on the ground and chased him.
“I suppose Ken used his sensation TM move called ‘Fatigue’, right?”, I guessed.
“Yes”, Will said. “The only counter to it is to stay out of his sight. Only me, Alexa and people with TMs related to speed can handle him, as well as people also who are adept in distracting their opponents.”
Ken summoned a black orb behind Alexa and sucked her into it and used “Fatigue”. Alexa transformed into a large armadillo and destroyed the black orb completely by ramming into it. Ken forms a large black orb on top of her. Alexa transformed quickly into a gazelle and leaped away. She immediately transformed into a chimpanzee and destroyed the orb by slashing on it.
