Rhia ended up staying up all night, not liking the vulnerability of being asleep in public places. The showers at the school helped waken her just a little, but not that much. She stumbled through the school day, only perking up when it was time for lunch. In her rush to get to the cafeteria, she felt something grab her ankle, making her trip. Her books went flying out of her hands and onto the floor, and she would have too if someone's warm hands hadn't caught her. Looking up with a startled expression, she smiled when she saw Warren looking at someone with a hateful, simmering glare. The exhaustion catching up to her again, she leaned against him, much to the boy's surprise. "Thanks, you're so sweet," she murmured sleepily. He turned his gaze onto her, shifting to concern. Warren started to talk when she put a finger to his lips and turned around, conjuring a knife in her hands. Although many students were watching, she threw the knife expertly and watched as it sliced through the waistbands of Lash and Speed's pants before splashing to the ground in a small puddle. Giggles rose in the hallways when their pants dropped to the floor, exposing their underwear. A nice girl handed Rhia her books, and the Bloodstorm girl mumbled a thank you with a smile. Hooking an arm through Warren's to steady herself, the two walked into the cafeteria together. Their position earned them some stares, but all Warren cared about was getting Rhia to the table safely, and all she cared about was leaning on Warren to keep herself warm. It made her sleepier. When they reached the table, Rhia shocked him yet again by sitting next to him and laying her head on his leather-clad shoulder, immediately falling asleep. Warren was forced to eat his lunch with one hand, not wanting to disturb the obviously sleep deprived girl on his arm. Rhia was extremely comfortable, to her unconscious surprise. She slept the entire lunch period, smiling softly in her sleep and snuggling into his shoulder. Warren stilled at the movement. His dark eyes looked at her peaceful face and he used his free hand to move a curl out of it. Close to when the end of lunch bell rang, Rhia groggily opened her eyes, semi rejuvenated, and looked up at Warren with a soft smile. "I don't know if you know this, but you are extremely comfy." The corners of his full lips quirked up. "Is that so?" he chuckled. Tracing the flames that decorated his wrists with the tips of her fingers, she blushed lightly. "Mhm," she hummed. Bringing a hand up, she pushed a dark lock of hair out of his face, studying him. "You should smile more, you look absolutely lovely when you smile," a blush covered her cheeks at her words and she looked away. "I mean, you look lovely anyways, I'm not saying that-" "I'll take it into consideration," he interrupted, finding her blush adorable. But he would never be caught dead using those words aloud. "We gotta go, I heard someone say it's Save the Citizen in gym class today." Rhia groaned. "I hate Save the Citizen! With my luck, Uncle Boomer is gonna pick me first!" Her companion just smirked and the duo exited the cafeteria.
