Lucy was waiting when Rhia got home after school, arms crossed, and still in her suit.  Frowning, the youngest sister put her bag on the floor and walked into the kitchen, which was on the top floor, for some reason. She poured two glasses of apple juice and sat at the counter, ready for her lecture.
   "I take it Rebecca called?"
   "Yep."
"How long am I grounded for?"
   "Three weeks."
Rhia's eyes widened, but she calmed her expression. "And what am I grounded from?"
Lucy looked at her for a long moment. "Flying," she decided. "You'll ride the bus."
Rhia's jaw dropped and her eyes flashed in anger. "What? You can't do that!" She yelled, standing up.
"Yes, I can, and I will," Lucy argued. Rhia hated it when they argued and when Lucy had the suit on, it made the oldest Bloodstorm sister even more big headed. Fuming, Rhia jabbed a finger at the family portrait hanging on the wall. They all looked so happy, tackling each other on the leafy ground of the park. Dad's eyes were shut and his mouth was open wide in laughter as he held his three girls. Mom's dark blonde hair was curlier than ever, eyes filled with adoration at her two daughters.
"Mom wouldn't take away my powers, no matter what I did!" Rhia shouted. Her words were meant to hurt, and boy they did.
Lucy's eyes blazed, and Rhia was sure hers did too. "Mom isn't here!"
"Exactly!" Rhia's voice raised in volume, reaching a scream. "So stop trying to act like her, you're not mom!" The words ricocheted around the room, followed by silence. "You're never around, Lucy. You've been gone for an entire week! And I'm surprised you even came back."
   Lucy flinched. "I'm trying, Rhia-"
"No, no you are not trying! All you do is run off to save someone else's day. But what about me, huh? When was the last time you went to work, paid the bills?" her sister stared at her. "They shut off heat and water, I've been showering at school," Rhia's voice was quiet by the end of that, before it got loud again, the anger surging. "But you wouldn't know! You wouldn't know because you're off gallivanting as Lucky Star when you should be here, helping me with homework, paying the bills, talking about boys, being my sister, Lucille Bloodstorm." She was crying again. She was so sick of crying.
Lucy was crying too, but Rhia didn't give her the satisfaction of being able to answer. She grabbed her backpack and stormed to her room, slamming the door shut behind her. Grabbing clothes and shoving them into a duffel bag, she squeezed out of her bedroom window. Making sure her bags were secure, she pulled her hood up around her face and took flight.
The brunette flew to the nearest park, perching on top of the tallest jungle gym. She pulled out her phone and scrolled through her contacts. Who would let her stay the night? Pausing over a number, she took a deep breath and pressed dial.
   "Hello?" Layla's voice answered.
"Hi, Layla, it's Rhia, I got your number from the directory. Is this a bad time?"
The redhead sounded very confused and wary when she answered. "No, not at all. Why, what's up?"
"I, uh," she hiccuped. "Never mind, see you at school!" Quickly hitting end, Rhia broke down in tears yet again.

VERY short chapter I know but thanks for reading! We'll get some Warhia here in the next chapter!
