"Um...Zozo?" Fiona calls, her voice bouncing down the hollow hallways of the ship. "I think we have a problem!" Zoey's brisk footsteps make loud clanging noises on the metal floor. She sighed. They said there was no sound in space, no air for it to travel through, but that was a total lie when it came to spaceships. In the weeks they had been on board, Zoey couldn't remember a single day where it had been quiet enough for her to relax in her captains quarters and listen to her music without interruption.

"I'm on top of the world ay!" she sung to herself as she wound her way through the labyrinth of corridors. "I'm on top of the world ay! Take you with me if I can, been dreaming of this since a child. I'm on top of the world." When she was little, Zoey had dreamed of flying through the stars and exploring new planets. Now not only was she now Space-Time Commander Proasheck, but she lived her dreams with the most amazing person in her life, Fiona.

"Zoey, is this light supposed to be off?" Fiona was kneeling next to the fuel gauge, frowning at a little bulb next to it. Zoey sighed and hit the console with her fist. The bulb flickered briefly before shining a bright green colour.

"It's always that colour light that breaks," Zoey said to Fiona. "Why is it always the green ones?" They may own their own spaceship, but it was secondhand (Zoey's friend had won it in game of space poker but didn't want it) and it had its fair share of problems. Broken lights, damaged air con, and the messed up teleporter. Slowly the crew were helping to fix the minor problems, but the teleporter was still a big issue. Sadly, it would have to wait until they had enough money for the missing parts.

Fiona stood up and brushed the dust off of her dark green trousers. "One day we'll be able to fix this thing." she checked the bulb was in place and turned back to her partner, who smiled.

"Yeah, we'll earn enough money to make this the best ship in the galaxy! Then we can go wherever we want, travelling through space and going wherever we want, not having to listen to anyone!" Zoey grinned. "And we can do it together." She wrapped her arms around Fiona, hugging her tightly. They let go of one another, both wearing smiles that lit up their faces.

"We've got a few planets to land on before we have that sort money though." Fiona pushed a button on her watch, projecting a blue map of the nearby stars and planets. "Our first location is this little one here, it's called...Um...That's not in english, I can't read it. Can you?" Despite being fluent in several languages, Zoey couldn't read the name.

"No, sorry. I guess we just land on it anyway!" she responded cheerfully. Fiona sighed, but still smiled.

"You don't care about the danger. Just the adventure," she laughed, flipping various switches before exiting the room, Zoey following briskly after.

"Well there wouldn't be any adventure without the danger. And I want to have an adventure, so...I'll take any threat that comes with it!" She grinned and poked her head through a doorway to her left, blowing a stray lock of hair out of her face.

"Get ready Ringlette, we're going to land!" Fiona's head appeared next to Zoey.

"Onwards, to adventure!" she yelled, running into the main room to help pilot the MSS Heart of Mushbury.

"Oh, and remember that the teleportation system is out, so please don't try using it to get us down there again."

I can't wait for Beyond Mushbury! Also HOLY FUDGEBALLS FLUX BUDDIES GUYS. I think I'm now slightly obsessed with tumblr. And 5k reads seriously you guys are awesome 🐼
