NanoSmiffy-Nano and Smiffy
"Ah Nano, you're looking gorgeous this evening! Not a star in the sky compares to you!" Smiffy grinned, arms wide in a grand gesture of greeting. Nano raised an eyebrow in surprise. He towered above her, blocking any of the previously mentioned stars from her view.
"You're not looking too bad yourself Smiffy. Do something with your non-existent hair?" She smirked.
"Thank you for noticing, but flattery will get you nowhere. I'm here today strictly on business." The green man gave her a slightly apologetic smile, and she folded her arms.
"What sort of business?"
"The sort of business that requires your assistance in a few experiments. I'd assume flux is more your field of expertise, so I thought I'd ask if you cared to help?" Smiffy asks, a hint of pleading to his voice that made Nano feel yet more smug.
"How funny Smith, it's almost as if you're trying to ask me on a date!" Suddenly he blushed, almost embarrassed by the memory of the last time the two had seen one another.
"A date? Did we not go on one the other day?"
"I'm not sure writing "Sjin Sucks" in a chilli field exactly counts as a date," Nano laughed quietly.
"But you had fun, no?"
"Of course I did."
"Exactly, I class that as a date. But back to the task at hand. You up for it?" Smith sounded less desperate now and slightly more impatient. He must be awfully keen to get an answer from her.
"Well, I do know about being affected by flux, but the science behind it is not my forte," Nano sighed, but grinned. "I'll give it a shot nonetheless."
"Fantastic!" Smith beamed. "Swing by Hat Corp tomorrow evening, we can get cracking!"
"See you tomorrow then!" Nano responded in a less enthusiastic tone. As much as she loved the guy, Smith could get truly absorbed in his work, and for she knew he could take his experiments a bit too far if they weren't careful.
"Indeed. Did I mention how simply stunning you look today?"
