Yugi and Téa: truth

Friday came quickly. Téa confirmed she could come over for a little while before having to go home. Yugi still wished she could stay the night but knew she couldn't. Over the last week, Téa and Yugi were getting close too.

After school, Téa drove Yugi and Yami home since she was coming over anyways. Grandpa greeted them in when they arrived. It didn't take long for the rest of the gang to show up. Yami made sure the crew didn't tell Téa his secret. He wanted to wait a little while.

"So Yami, how about a duel" Joey said. Yami smirked. "Your on Joey." Yami said. "Oh, this will be fun" Yugi said. They gathered around Yami and Joey as they dueled. They drew 5 cards. "Are you ready Joey?" Yami asked. "You bet I am" Joey said. Yami went first. "I draw, I play Queens knight in attack mode. Then I place one card face down. That ends my turn." Yami said. "Alright. My move. I draw. I play swordsman of landstar in attack mode. Then I play graceful dice. I rolled a 6 Which means my swordsman get 6x it's original amount of attack points. Swordsman attack" Joey said. "Not so fast. You activated my trap, mirror Force. Your attack is directed right back at you. My Queen's knight is safe." Yami said. "I play one card face down and end my turn" Joey said.

"My move. I draw. Yes, I play Kings night in attack mode. When I have Kings knight and queens knight on the field, I can automatically sommon Jack's knight. Jack's knight, attack directly." Yami said. "Darn it." Joey said. "I place one card face down and end my turn" Yami said. The duel went on for some time. Yami eventually won. "Your way to good at this game Yami" Joey said. "I am, but not as good as Yugi" Yami said. "What do you mean?" Téa asked. "Yugi beat me once. And I even had 3 very powerful cards at my disposal at the time" Yami said. "Oh right. Yugi, your the king of games aren't you?" Téa asked. "Yes I am." Yugi confirmed. Tea looked at the time and saw the sun was beginning to set. "I better go Yugi. I'll come by tomorrow and we can do something" Téa said. Yugi agreed. Téa got in her car and drove away.

"Well to bad she's gone. We were going to make her feel welcome" Bakura said. "No Bakura, it's one thing to throw us out naked, it's a far different to thrown her out naked. She's a woman." Ryou said. "yeah" Yugi said.

"Why don't we go ahead and watch some movies" Yami said. "Very well. But please try not to do a scary movie. I get nightmares" Yugi said. "we already have a movie picked" Marik said with a grin.

Malik pooped in "the meg" Yugi hated shark movies. He glared at Marik. "Really!" Yugi said. Marik and Bakura laughed.

Yugi clutch onto a pillow though the whole movie. Yami tried to comfort him with no luck. When the movie was over Yugi begged to watch a non scary movie before bed. But everyone else was tired and needed some rest. Yugi went ahead and tried to fall asleep.

Yugi was in the water with Téa. They were both enjoying each other's company and have fun in the water. Soon a giant fin popped out of the water. "Téa! Swim!" Yugi yelled. They tried to swim away as fast as they could. Then a giant shark grabbed Téa and swallowed a her.

"Téa!!!!" Yugi screamed. Ryou heard him and tried to wake him up. "Yugi, sh wake up." Ryou said. Yugi shot up. Ryou hugged him. "It was only a dream Yugi" Ryou said.

"I'm sorry Ryou. You know movies like that give me nightmares." Yugi said. "I know. What helps me is the fact the megalodon went extinct a long time ago" Ryou said. "Yeah, I guess your right" Yugi said. "Do you want to talk about the dream. It sounded like it was about Téa." Ryou said. "Well, long story short, the meg ate Téa" Yugi said. "You like her, don't you?" Ryou asked. "Yeah I do. I was thinking about asking her to homecoming. But I'm not sure yet." Yugi said.

After talking with Ryou, Yugi was able to fall back asleep. He knew he only known Téa a week. But he couldn't help but like her. The next morning Yugi streched as he woke up. He felt something on his face but wasn't what it was. When he looked around he saw Bakura and Marik laughing. "Okay what did you do?" Yugi asked. "Take a look" Marik said. He looked around. Tristan's hair was died green. "He's going to kill you for that" Yugi said. "Don't care" Bakura said. Yami's face had blue glitter glue on his face. "Really guys" Yugi said. "Go check out your face" Marik said. Yugi went into the bathroom and almost freaked out. His face was painted to look like a shark. "Really guys" Yugi called. He quickly washed of the face paint. "What else did you do?" Yugi asked when he came back. "Nothing. We can't get everyone" Marik said. Yugi just rolled his eyes. Tristan and Yami freaked out over what the psychos did to them. Tea came by. She was trying to contain her laughter. "What happened?" She asked. "Marik and Bakura. Might want to watch your back. They will get you eventually." Yugi said. Téa laughed. "I bet they won't. I don't go out after sunset." Téa said. "Why not." Yugi asked. "Personal reasons" Téa said. Yugi thought that was weird. On Monday Yugi decided to try to ask Téa to homecoming. "Oh.. um... I'm actually not aloud to date. It's a long story." Téa said sadly. "Oh. Okay." Yugi said. He decided to talk to her parents about it the one day Téa took Yugi to his house. They said she was arranged to be married. It happened before she was born. This made Yugi upset. When Ryou found out, he felt bad. "I'm really sorry Yugi. I thought she would feel the same." Ryou said. "I know. But I'll do what I can to push those feelings aside." Yugi said sadly. He wished there was a way to date her. But he knew he couldn't.
