*Calum’s POV*

God I hate Mondays. There is nothing good about them.

Well, there is one thing I like about Mondays.

Or, should I say one person.

Luke waited in his car outside my house like usually. When I got in the car, the first thing he did was to give me the biggest kiss. Damn, if every Monday started like this, I probably wouldn’t hate them as much.

“Morning handsome” he said with a smile. His dimples was showing, and I’m pretty sure it’s the cutes thing I have ever seen.

When we entered the school doors, a not-so-happy-Amber walked straight up to Luke.

“Why didn’t you answer my call last night?” you could almost see the knives in her eyes, ready to kill if he gave her the wrong answer.

A jealous girlfriend is never a fun thing to have around. Especially when that jealous girlfriend is Amber. God, how could Luke even stand to date her?

“Sorry, I was busy” Luke said.

“What about last week? I texted you every day, but you didn’t answer any of them” it sounded like she was about to cry. I’m so glad that Luke can see right through her mask, so he finally can break up with her and we won’t have to ever see her ag-

“I’m sorry babe, let me make it up to you. Let me take you out on a date tonight” Luke gave her a big hug, and kissed her.

Well, that was not what I expected. First of, I had kind of hoped that I could hang with him tonight, and second, it’s not nice to kiss your (crazy-ass-bitch) girlfriend in front of your secret love affair. Just saying.

“Uhm, Luke, don’t you remember that… uhm, thing we had planned today after school?” I said. I really wanted to hang out with him, and I wouldn’t let her get him that easy.

“What thing, Calum?” wow, he sounded… angry? He was never mad at me, what the hell did I do?

“You promised to help me with my, uhm… math homework” God, why couldn’t I be a good lair.

“Don’t you get straight A’s in math, Calum?” why did that crazy girl need to point that out?

Okay, you win this round bitch, but trust me, I’ll be back.

I didn’t speak with Luke the rest of the day.

I tried at lunch, but he was only talking to Amber.

Didn’t he see me? Didn’t he remember me? Well, sorry to interrupt, but I’m the guy you have been hooking up with the last few weeks. Plus I’m your best friend. You can’t just ignore me, that’s against the bro-code. Dicks before chicks, you know. Especially since you’re gay.

After my last class I walked out to Lukes car, like I always did, but on my way out there I got a text. It was from Luke.

Srry, cant drive u home today. Amber wanted to go to the mall. C’ya tmrrw bby x

Perfect. Just perfect.

While I walked home, I couldn’t stop thinking. Why did he suddenly want to be with Amber? Wasn’t I enough? Did he just use me, and then got back with her when he got bored with me?

All of these questions was flying around in my head. Sadly I didn’t have the answer to any of them.
