*Calum’s POV*

I tried to contact Luke all afternoon. I texted him, left him voicemails and I even wrote a message to him on Facebook (God, I sound like a clingy girlfriend) but he didn’t answer me.

And the worst part was that I literally could see that he had seen the Facebook message.

I mean, come on Luke.

It fucking says seen 9:34 PM but you still choose to ignore me?

Well, two can play this game. I’ll just have to ignore him. That’ll be easy. I’m just gonna ignore him for like, a week, and then he will come crawling back to me.

Okay, maybe just a few days. I might miss him a bit.

Or, like, 2 days.

Maybe just the first two classes tomorrow.

Yeah, that sounds great.

*The next morning*

I got up early, so I could be sure that I was out of the house before Luke came.

I hurried out of the house, before my mom started to ask questions about why I was up so early. I literally never got up this early. Not even on Christmas.

I stood by my locker, when I suddenly could hear Luke call my name from the other end of the hallway.

I quickly closed my locker, and walk fast down the hallway. Away from Luke of curse. I turned a corner, but I could suddenly feel an arm sneak around me from behind. Damn Luke and his long legs.

His breath hit my neck, and I could feel his lips at my ear.

“Why weren’t you home this morning? Your mom said you had already left when I came. Are you trying to avoid me?” God dammit, he know how turned on I get when he whisper in my ear with that raspy voice of his.

“I just wanted to g-go to school” oh no, I diD NOT JUST STUTTER.

I could hear Luke’s (totally-sweet-but-still-extremely-hot) laugher at my ear, and I knew he could see right through me. Of course I couldn’t stay mad at him, but shit, I seriously wanted to.

“Just drop the act Cal, we’re gonna be late for math” he kissed my neck, but before he could turn around and leave, I grabbed his arm.

I think I surprised both of us when the one word I usually never use towards Luke, slipped out of my mouth.

“No.”

“No?”

“No.”

“What do you mean by ‘No’?”

“No means fucking no, dumbass”

“No to what?”

“No, I don’t wanna fucking drop the act, no I don’t wanna fucking forgive you, no I don’t wanna fucki-“

“Okay, okay, breath, I get it”

“No you don’t, that’s the fucking problem!”

“Seriously dude, stop swearing, it’s not like you”

I looked at him, trying to give him the same killer look Amber usually gives me (even though I can’t do it as well as her, ‘cause that girl is crazy).

I fucking (haha, Luke, you can’t stop me for swearing in my own head) hate him. I’m almost crying because of him, and the only thing he says to me is to stop swearing? Wow, what a friend he is…

And then it hit me.

He wasn’t.

He hasn’t been for a while.

He don’t wanna play Fifa anymore, he don’t wanna watch movies, he don’t even wanna hang out like we used to.

He only wanna hook up.

I turned around and walked down towards my class. Leaving my, so called, best friend behind. He didn’t run after me. He didn’t call me back. He did nothing to stop our friendship from breaking. And while I had a happy feeling about that in my stomach, I couldn’t prevent the tears from running down my cheek.

*Sorry, I know it’s a really short chapter again, but I’m running low on ideas! I will love you forever if you send me any good idea you have to this story!*
